Weird suck out  0
I was playing some 5c/10c NL Hold'em on pokerstars yesterday. I had about 12$ in my stack. I get red 1010 on the small blind with a raise and a call to 30 cents before me. So I think a bit and decide to 3bet to 1,40$. They both call. Flop comes 9h 3h 2d, so I decide to bet out 2,20$. The original raiser insta calls and the other guy folds. Turn is a 8 of hearts, wich isn't a great card for me but not bad either. It gives me a 10 high flush draw with my overpair. So I bet 3,60$ and he snap calls again. River comes 10 of spades, top set for me wich is great because I thought there was a chance he might be slow playing a set. Now I know theres also straights out there along with the flush but they don't worry me too much. With a little less than 6$ left in my stack and the pot being at more than 15$, I decide to shove knowing I'm gonna get snap called if the guy beats me. But I also have some showdown value.

He actually thinks for about 5 seconds before calling, and calls showing 6d-7h Confused

I mean I know I didn't HAVE to defend those 10s, but why the hell did he float on the flop? Why would he call 2,20$ with no draw no pair? I really don't get it. I looked on a odds calculator, he was at 16% pre flop, 5% on the flop (wow), 11% on the turn, then hits the miracle card.

I wish this kind of stuff would happen to me too, but I just can't play 6-7o like this guy Big Smile

Wow indeed, he's definitely a dumb dumb at poker. That is strange for sure, I'd say you often find dummies at low limits, but someone that dumb is certainly a rare event. You should note his user name and look him up, play against him again he's giving it away.

It happens from time to time and it's okay if you respect the bankroll management and know what is variance in poker...

Also be sure that on long term he is a losing player and you'll be a winning one Blink

I'm used to 18% suck outs don't worry, I even do some myself, usually when I'm short stacked in a tournament though, not cash game like that. Stuff like AQ vs AK all in pre flop happens all the time in MTTs, and mathematicly it's pretty much the same thing. But this is just weird how it happened, this hand was a pretty unique situation for me. I was pretty shocked when I saw his hand!
