Thanks, had 5bet preflop and he called. The flop came A rag rag and when he repopped my c-bet I figured him for either AAA, two pair or trips. In any event, with the A on the board, I am pretty sure folding was right. It cost me $800 but I got twice that much back from him on the next hand with the AA.
It was a $250.00 free roll with the bubble at 600.? I was out after 4.5 hours. It lasted another hour I think.

Yeah super nice finish JackalDFL, that is a great position given the enormous amount of people you were up against. To bad the prize pool was spread out over some many finishers but I'm sure you got a nice little boost. Were you playing on Carbon?

Good work JackalDFL do a 83th place in a +10k players is really difficult to do. About your incredible begin i have always the sensation that if AA come too early in the MTT in not going to do nothing in it. Is a sensation i have, i don´t know why...

You did well in not playing the KK, the Ace in the hand Is enough to put one thinking about it, if your feelings were leading you to a disadvantage position, then you did well in following them. Btw, where do you find $250 freerolls nowadays? Was some kind of ticket you got or is it some specific room you usually play at? What are the conditions to enter on it?

thats a great job. and an awesome start well done. i played a freeroll otherday with 10000 in and i finished 64th that was a very good run for me lol. good luck in your next tournament

Party Poker has a $250 freeroll every day at 24:00 CET. It has 10000+ players, but since you can register days in advance, most don't show up. I often play them, and after eliminating one or two players, you're sometimes alone at the table with 9 people sitting out.
Very RSI inducing, hitting that call button for an hour or so...

Its a great way to start a tournament indeed. But also a way of leaving it early if you are unlucky enough. I remember once got kicked first out of a tournament with an AA all in bumped onto a straight

Nice starting hands but i lot of people its able to lay down AA and KK when flop comes... Yes AA and KK is good starting cards preflop but when flop come and you dont get set and flop is scary a lot people cant lay down for example AA they think hey i have pocket aces i am best AA is just one pair and many time will be crashed
