This is definitely the first place to start.. Try completely disabling your AV/FW + Windows FW. If this makes it work - then you know you need to configure it differently.

Hey, nice desktop, very clean, is it new or are you really that tidy? About your problem, your talking about rooms from different companies, so that really must have something to do with your PC. I would go for the disabling of the firewall and, if the problem continues, then contact support through the site (once you can’t get access to the support through the installed software because it just doesn’t work… .

These are all ipoker clients you try to open? I had some problems with false virus alarms with ipoker clients in the past. So it is possoble that your antivirus program/firewall is blocking the download.

And if not? I've just uninstalled aV completelly (Avast PRO) but the problem persists. I'll try to uninstall and clean everything (reg, cache, ext) and if nothing helps - format C..

I use Avast! but I didn't get problem open ipoker. I think the best way is ask to support, I had other problem before and their advise solve it. And other side I couldn't login at another site ( not ipoker) and we couldn't find out solution, still can't login

Since its not antivirus ( which with so many softwares was hard to be it) probably its something that has to do with windows. Try updating everything and then try again (it helped me a couple of times). A conflict may be another reason.

I've contacted 3-4 different customer suport, and they told me, well.. pretty much the same.
1. Close the poker software if it is running. 2. Uninstall the software. 4. Restart the computer. 5. Disable the use of proxy servers. 6. Re-download the poker client.
I've done that, I've even cleaned registry. I changed software's to not use some ports.. I've uninstalled AV's/FW's.. I've done everything that my knowlege allows me to do (and I now a lot) and nothing helps. I just didnt do one thing that support from poker770 told me - to contact my ISP to clear my external cache. I've found a simple solution - to reinstall my OS.
Anyway, good this with a lot solution to help someone who have/will have same problem.

try DL in a diffrent browser(set as main browser) OR 1. Go to start menu 2. right click on notepad, run as administrator, click yes 3. Go to file and open 4. Go to your host file......for example c:windows system32driversect 5 It will probally not say theres any files there, go to the box on the bottom right that says text documents and it will let you pick show all files. 6. Pick the one that says hosts 7 Ignore all you see and put these lines at the bottm of the list
IP of site(eg, 78.129.199.155 www.poker770.com)((actuall IP))
8. Hit the X to close it and it will ask you if you want to save........yes save it. 9. You should be good to go. (this just directs straight to site, stops your ISP blocking it)

Supernoob is right, it is your Firewall or your Antivirus program is causing these startup problems, Try logging in as administrator on your windows version, that will help for sure.
