Lock Poker continues to expand and has announced plans to acquire the Cake Poker Network. The network will be rebranded to Revolution Gaming once the takeover is complete.
The takeover is expected to be completed by June 1, with all existing Lock Poker players being transferred to the new network on May 31.
Lock Poker was formerly a Cake Poker Network skin, but currently runs as a skin on the Merge Gaming Network. It will now be leaving Merge to launch Revolution Gaming.
All existing Cake skins will also be incorporated into the new brand, but clients will not be affected as the new network is launched.

I hope so too, because there are only a few rooms left who are using the dealt-rake method. Let us see what happens after the month May, hopefully in the player's best interest.

Hi guys!!
Hope Cake net grows a lot. I so tired of sites with contribution rake (what a thieves!!!). If the new Revolution Gaming can have new players (lots of them) and continue with his dealt rake will be a good new for players, sure.

So, is Lock Poker trying to get independent from the rest of the groups where it has already been and now wants to create its own group? I never heard about it, but there must be someone around there who just got a big prize and doesn’t know exactly what to do with the money. Independence can be good, but not always, how can someone fight alone when the field is full of “military” potencial? I can only hope they bring new promos to the net and that BRM is able to give some to us!

i hope this will result in 10k no deposit bonuses for all brm members anyway thats the nature of any business including online gambling- always look for opportunities. i doubt revolution brand will be a big revolution, but i will have a look what they have on offer when it's launched...

think this might have something to do with LOCKOPS getting cancelled by merge network but good for cake who was struggling both with player numbers and reputation.

Yeah, I believe it is a move for independence, probably was in the works before the lockops cancellation but that probably put a fire under it. Apparently Lock makes up 40% of the traffic for Merge, any one else here if that's true? If so they can probably do it on their own.
MY WORRY: Is Carbon and the rest of Merge safe for now? I have $500 there, which I'm hoping to cash out today, little concerned, I heard withdrawals are taking upto a month on merge now, got me a little worried, any thoughts or advice?
