SO. After 5 months away from Titan I decided to return this morning and make a deposit to the site. I registered a new Visa Debit Card and went to deposit £200. It said my transaction was declined so I contacted support through the chat. 'Gayle' said that my type of Visa Debit card was not accepted by the site so to deposit through a different method. I chose to deposit again via the Citadel Online Banking Transfer.

I did everything it said, downloaded the Citadel Software that was required and processed the payment for £200 AGAIN. It said the deposit was successful and to log in and out of my account to see my new balance. I logged out and logging back in it said my account was suspended for security reasons. I phoned support and they said they were speaking to the security team and would get back to me. At this point I was still waiting. I tried to log in to my online banking and it said 'Your access to online banking services is blocked for security reasons. Please contact digital banking support.' I went in to my branch where I was asked to go in to an office and I sat for 1 hour whilst being grilled by the fraud prevention team. Eventually after showing bank staff 3 separate pieces of ID and answering all security questions they re-opened my account and asked if I would like to authorize the payment to Citadel Titan Poker Account. I said yes.

Eventually I received a response from Titan Poker saying my account was open and I could log in. I log in and the balance is £0.15 ... I contacted support and explained everything and they said I have to email support with a copy of the transaction (which they never sent me). I got this from the bank and emailed it and received an email back saying 'due to the nature of the problem please allow 7-14 working days for the transaction to be processed. They are refusing to cancel the payment and credit it back to my bank account. The bank are refusing to allow me access to my Online Banking Services until my computer is 'professionally checked' for viruses and Titan have offered no apology for using a service which banks view as corrupt.

F**K MY LIFE

Wish I could afford to lose £200 aswell Jomull. No idea where my money is. The bank said it's gone from my Account and Titan 'can't find the deposit' even though I sent them the transaction. Live Chat can't access their own poker system to check apparently so i must be patient. If there head office wasn't in the Philipines I'd be kicking some ass. Even on the phone they are unable to access the details. Sounds like a piss take to me!!!

Thaw because I don't really want to risk another £200!!!

I never use my card or my bank accounts to do transactions on poker sites, it's waay too complicated...

I always use an e-wallet for transactiosn and i frankly recommend skrill, and you'll be problem free Blink

That is absolutely awful Godward, I can't even imagine how outraged you must feel. You mentioned that you called the bank, but have you called Visa's fraud department? They'll look into things for you I bet, although I'm not sure about the Visa Debit Card but they may even have a guarantee on your funds and refund it themselves. Anything is worth a shot, let us know.

So first they dont accept your way of payment and tell you to use another and let you deposit instead of telling you immediately that your account was/could be suspended? Looks like those guys from the support don’t work well, they let you advance with the deposit before confirming with you everything, so your account don’t end up suspended.

I would have stopped everything the moment you were cleared from your bank, and they asked you
if you wanted to continue with the payment authorization.
You already had so many problems, and its a bank payment which always take longer,
and if there is a problem... i think you know the rest first hand.

I hope it gets cleared soon and get the money into your account.gl

Very bad experience , sorry for you. I ever had that experience - for security reason - from poker stars.
And I cancel my deposit there. I never get deposit problem with ipoker, you just have to report via on line chat before deposit with new credit card cos their system is not automatic, they do manually to register your new card. Maybe this is cause your problem. Did you register your new debit card before deposit ?

UPDATE ...

I know not many of you live in the UK but my bank RBS sent me a letter today saying my account was now fully closed for security reasons. I must bring 3 modes of identification to withdraw the rest of the funds from my account. This is due to suspicious activity through a Citadel Transfer which is not trusted by the RBS and is a common use for money laundering. LOL

Still no word from Titan about my funds. Pain in my hoop

Nah just stating that my account is blocked because I used a software that is common for money laundering. Says a lot about the integrity of Titan using such a method of depositing!

You might want to try to file a dispute to the charge with your credit card company. Since you made your deposit to access their site and have not got that access. They may have to reverse the charge.....but usually there is a time limit (90) days to file the dispute.

Its stories like this that keep me pounding the freerolls so I never have to make a deposit Angry

Don't get too worried Jackal, I've done plenty of deposits in and out and never had a problem. Try to stick to Moneybookers (Skrill) or Instadebit (Best for Canadians as it's free, and as the name implys - instant).

Let us know how things go after you show the ID Godward.

It;s been a little while now, I was just wondering, have there been any changes, updates, or news on your situation Godward? Did you try calling Visa to see what their fraud department has to say? Seriously, grab any straw you can.

Let us know.
