Milestone Brag thread - Cracked the 10K barrier on PKR (combined wins)  +2
I said in a thread the other day, my total MTT winnings on PKR are approaching 10K. Well - After a very disappointing Heads Up battle in todays PKR Gold Rush Speed Rebuy - I took 2nd place for $723.00 - putting my total MTT winnings at $10,147.00

I'm not playing any where near as much as I used too - generally just enough to hit my $500/Mth RB target and thats about it.

Anyway - pretty happy to hit this milestone.

------------
FYI: This is sharkscope - jessthehuman - PKR - Sch Only

My SNG graph is a shocked - although, I am up around $700 on PKR for the year (I was at -1500 beginning of year lol) - so that is slowly on the rise too. I tend hit up the SNG tables when I am tilting and put big downward trends into my graph lol. My year goal for SNG is merely to get back in the black.

Good job mate Thumbs Up
Allways login PKR in the morning to see who is tops in last nights MTTs, so saw your 2nd place in the Goldrush, i like rebuys but not so 6seaters as TheDom is a nittyness 10seater moth*f*ker.
Anyway grats on the 2nd place and also grats on the 10K milestone.

Goodluck in the future mate Thumbs Up

Btw dont forget your bink in the 7seater Turbo for $80 Blink

lmao - yeah - I came 2nd in that one today as well, but the field was even shorter haha. But it was the Gold Rush that took me over the mark.. so all credit goes that way.. Spewing about the result in the GR actually - I came into the HU as a 1:2 dog and I built back until I was a 2:1 fav, then lost a flip, then I got it in with roughly even stacks vs a dominated ace and he spiked his kicker on the flop and I didn't catch up..

Always disappointing to lose a tourney when you get your chips in with the best hand. Oh well - that's tourneys.. Shame though, because it was an extra $500 for first.. The guy that won too, was a complete donkey.

I guess you are gonna make it. I think it wil be more difficult to arrange a way to play an HU against me than to reach black on your graph at PKR. You are showing pretty nice skills, moving with some money, not that having the goal of doing $500 monthly is that much (indeed, i think you should think of doubling your objectife, i have a friend playing with $5,000 at Kings and he is doing that very well, not counting the rake), but i think you should.

I don't mean making $500 a month. I mean I need to pay at least $500 per month in rake (so 50,000 PKR points) to get my 30% rakeback. I've been raking around $600-$800 / month lately..It's actually pretty hard to rake $500/Mth JUST from small-mid stake MTTs (which I dont, I mix in a bit of SNG/RING as well).

I'm jealous of you. Teach me your ways. Worship Worship Worship I might make a deposit on PKR from what I've heard its very fishy. Possibly more fishy than Pokerstars.

u have some nice wins there Smile Smile im also trying to rake the 500$ a month for rakeback and it is really hard i play cashgames and rake around 25$ a day so it would be good to play more each day to get to 500$ Smile

Before I busted a large portion of my roll - I was raking around $3K / Month. But that was multi-tabling nl $1/$2 mostly - about $100 rake a day.

It's so much harder for me now - I try and stay away from the ring games - I tend to be too much of a degenerate (playing drunk, high stakes, 3am poker.)

I reckon playing ring game - it's not too hard to rake a full buyin per day - so $25 a day for nl10c/25c for example.

Harder to rake a full buyin at higher limits - once the rake-cap kicks in. Not that thats a bad thing!

Are you playing on PKR as well ? I know they generally enforce the $500/Mth policy to anyone who didn't sign up with RB.

Congrats.
Also for rake, I noticed the higher the limits the more pre-flop the game becomes, meaning less rake overall, BI% wise.
Is funny you say that about ring games(de-gen) I feel the same with on-line tourns, play well for a long time then a small bout of stupidity(perhaps the 6th tinny)wipes my stack, on the ring games I can just leave when that laps hits.

Are you playing any live games?

Very, very nice results man, i really think that PKR is one of the best poker platforms to build a bankroll Smile

But again you also need to apply the right strategy and with a bit of luck too you get great results indeed Big Smile

That's very true actually - you can be 4-5hrs and just one mistake can wipe it all out for you in a matter of seconds. That is a good point and I've definitely destroyed a few sessions that way - I guess the thing is, you still only lose a buyin..

That's true - but the rake on nosebleeds is negligible anyway, because it's normally capped at about $3 for the whole pot.

And no, other than the very occasionally pub game - but nothing serious.

Impressive graphic! Smile

But as I told you before, I think you should stick to MTTs, you would probably have a lot more profit and you can't lose too much in a session! We all have our strong points in poker, and I think yours is clearly MTT. Thumbs Up

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up (2 thumbs up Jess !)

Thought you would have cracked that barrier a while back already, but then you know where your faults lie. Blink

Very impressive stuff buddy! Worship
