Hi dear mobsters just wanted to inform you that i just took down a 1500 gtd Speed Tournament on PP. With first price of 452,40 Us-Dollars. So i want to thank you all for this great forum i read a lot of the threads here to improve my game and i am really looking forward to some other wins Big Smile

SOMEWHERE IN THE FIRST WEEK OF APRIL I ENDED 3RD IN 100k freeroll out of 7800 players and
won 272$ ,this is not tracked ,,because its a freeroll.. but also won this cash last month..

result??? all my efforts in the trashcan...bankroll down to 0.04 $ cent at the moment..


damn,, its hard to make a solid bankroll...if ur inpatient like me...was 135+ ROI last month,,

then oops i did it again Smile got broke on cash and heads-up tables ,,all due to impatience
and some negative critisism from some familymembers,,,telling me i am an gamblingaddict instead
and i can never win at poker ,,
i told em i had a very good week ,,they responded ,,: huh?? we thought you won a couple of thousand..everything under 500$ is peanuts ,,spend ur time better..you addict..

so i got frustrated again..and busted my bankroll in 2 days..

Not dissapointed with my game although i still can improve..

Very,very ,very dissapointed that family has influence on my overall results...

even think about moving so i won't be disturbed in the future...pfffff

yes ,i know ,,to be succesfull ,all bad influences i have to get rid of...create an invironment around me with positive energy and postive people or i will keep losing whatever i have won previously.

Listen to your family they probaly see it clearer...
I mean when you ONLY play poker and get trouble for it with your famaly its a problem
And yes only playing poker all day means addict yes...

Maybe when you a winning player and make 10 k in 3 months and play 8 hours a day then maybe you can call it a job...now its just an addiction

Really nice first prize mate, i actually noticed the players on pp n mtt are actually pretty nice to play with.

I'm not familiar with this particular mtt that you played and won the 1st prize but what was the buy in and how many participants were?

Was a 22 dollar Buy-in(not good for BRM but wanted to look how the players play in those higher buy-in tournaments) and there where 78 players Blink

Uhhcallmi, some people have character : not carefully manage their capital, not think too much how is happen when they lost the capital ( me too ). So fail built good bankroll. I think we have to change that's bad habit. Let's we try Smile

That's a very nice take down Hiesy and a great prize. I didn't see anyone else ask, but what are you going to do with your winnings? Reinvest to safely play higher stakes (remember bank roll management) or withdraw and buy something nice?

Sorry to hear abot your downfall uhcallmi, you're all over the place there, again bank roll management, you have skills, you can go far.

Uhhcallmii....interesting comments about your family and also about impatience. Concentration and family support is important. Only this evening, I was playing quite well, my wife was chatting away and that helped me really focus on the game I was playing, well within the pay zone, not listening to her really helped, focussing on the game worked really well. Then BOOM......she left the room and my mind started to wonder and I bombed out of the game. if only she had stayed and carried on talking (though I have no clue what she was saying!!!!!!)

Family support is really impoirtant to concentration....my wife wittering on while I play poker is great way to ignore her!!

to answer the question what i am doing with the money i withdraw and now have 200 dolalrs left on my account and i will try to get a good BR with that money or win another time big with it Blink

Yeah i know what you are going through with the family and negative energy problem. Just keep your head up and when they bother you just get away from the computer for a bit and walk it off.... It helps me, my woman is so negative even when i win she has something negative to say... I promise you this, when u do win really big they will be all smiles... My biggest win so far is $2600 in a $11 tourny... I took 1st place... Big Smile
