Yesterday the 43rd annual World Series of Poker started with the first gold bracelet event: Casino Employees Championship ($500 buy-in). Here we go again for another WSOP. I can still remember a year in which BRM had an excellent promo of giving mobsters the exclusive chance to run for a WSOP pack. And to win it, one just had to be first in two freerolls, after winning the ticket for the first one in the Mob Calendar. Then, the first freeroll would give the chance for those who ended it up in the first 15 places to go for the final freeroll. In the final freeroll, the first one would receive the WSOP package. That was the greatest event I ever saw BRM doing, lets see if there will be something like this for this year.

great series, as always the re will be many new "pro's" after the series have ended, and many of current "pro's" will be kicked in the ass big time- that's poker, that's gambling in general...as for the series- great publicity, massive prize pools, great tourney variation- really one of the best series all around
