Event #1: Casino Employees Championship (NLH - $500 buy-in) kicked off the 2012 WSOP last Sunday and has now come to an end. Another working class hero. With a considerable buy-in to an event limited to casino employees, having a field of 732 is very good, and being able to pass all the obstacles and get a $70k prize is even better. I wonder if there were many (if any) employees from casinos from Macau in this event. Guess they must have good knowledge about the game, also as others from the rest of the world, but from Macau and from Las Vegas always have that mark above them of coming from the land of the game. The prize is good but still not enough to quit the job and dedicate entirely to the hobby!

Nice to hear he have a first WSOP gold bracelet winner this year and the guy that took it doesn't ring a bell to me...

One hell of a wage boost!
