hey guys this is my first post
first i'd like to thank bankrollmob for their great offers on free bankrolls . idk why players like turbo tournaments but i just find them unplayable especially for a leaderboard challenge that needs to be skill related rather than luck related. i can make it ITM most of the times but it just gets impossible to continue after the 400/800 level, if u dont get a playable hand your tournament is over, you're forced to shove and you get sucked out on most of the times.
idk what is the reason behind the blinds structure because i read it's a 10 min level on other poker rooms.

i love to play turbo's.. only because the payout structure is better then the regular tournaments..
and yes,, the blinds go up faster... so u should conside that people play a bit wider ranges,,
turn this info into ur benefit,,,
On regular tournaments people have all day to wait for the best hands ,,so i think these are even harder to win...too great chences you walk uppon A-A,A-K,K-K and these kind of hands,,,
my conclusion: regular tourn. structure = patience ,less skill turbo tourn. structure = more skill,,so u can make a difference hyper-turbo structure = more skill ,less patience ,but very edgy,,because ur constantly shortstacked...so gotta choose ur hands more carefully then the 2 structures above..
but hyperturbo has best payoutstructure,,less registration fee

I think the reason might be the number of players on Pokerstars. Faster blinds means shorter tournaments.
I only played them a few times (I mostly play the Party Poker freerolls). At first I thought they were impossible to do well at, but then managed to reach a final table. I noticed lots of mistakes, even very deep into the tournament, with short stacks min-raising, and then folding to a shove...
Judging from the leaderboard however, it seems that hardly anyone wins these tournaments more than once.
If you're ITM "most of the times" I think you are doing extremely well. Maybe you should sacrifice the number of min cashes, by playing more agressive. This might enable you make the final table more often; you'll be ITM less, but when you are, you'll win bigger...
P.S. you should register your account on the Pokerstars Leaderboard page, that way you can play the $1500 freeroll as well, for being in the top 200.

This is made for those who like fast action. There are many players who just can’t handle to play in a 15 or 20 minutes blind system because they begin to evolve but then fail to maintain this pace, because they want to bet more and win more quickly, and eventually most of the time they throw everything away. And patience as all to do with poker, but only normal poker. Turbo mode poker is made for those who have less patience but know when to take risks.

just thought the above was worth quoting as it is good info for sure. my opinion is on this that its good for how much the password gets out and the style and type of players. gets some taking use to for sure and as most turbos wee more on the luck side ofcourse then normal but like they are do able and honestly the staff have done pretty much what they can to help that tournament and i think the 5 min is a good level, tho i do admit a while ago i was totally thinking the same way about going to ten for it.
i mean i get to top 200 usually most boards so its totally do able with some skill and if the poker gods shine a wee little ray of luck your way from time to time lmfao. cheers mates take it easy
