A big and warm welcome to everyone reading, This is Pokershark74 bringing you my new take on a blog after taking a nice long hiatus from here as well as the poker world.

For those who don't know me:

I play mostly on stars which my name there is 98pokershark (tricky one to figure out its me eh Tongue ) but i also play hero on the occasion as well as recently poker770. for sake of keeping confusion down for the purposes of this Blog my main focus will be my stars account.

just a bit of catching up on my cashes in the rescent days then a short bit more on my intro and we shall hopefully send this Blog off in the right direction! Agree Agree

SOME CASHES OF LATE:

earlier this month took 30th in the top 200 for BRM for 11.25, really fun tournament well done to the top finishers and had a blast playing with everyone.

$3.30 fifteen minute tourny with 670ish peeps took 4th for 27.96 Worship lucky triple up one min left with pocket queens flopping case queen for set was a nice win for right after my first deposit in a while.

$2.20 buy in sat. to sunday storm top two for the ticket (thats this sunday im excited for that one definately) Cool

small win in another 3.30 fifteen for $7.52

$1.10 fifteen minute timed won 4th got $8.73 played well as well as i seemed to have luck at my side these last couple days *knock on wood*

lastly unlocked a 9.95 second half of a depo bonus (not huge but last time i busted was left only 3 fpps shy of unlocking it so nice little pursy accomplishment)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JUST a COUPLE SHOuT OUTS: respect to all mentioned or not involved with brm tho Worship Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

respect to tony and all brm staff you guys are wonderful and great for the poker world imo. a shout out to micro if hes still kicking around aswell as jesse, arthur72, and anyone i carelessly cant remember while stoned hehehehe Evil

AND A BIG OLD DIRTY SHOUT OUT TO ZE RIGTARDS PROVIDING ENDLESS ENTERTAINMENT.

ENTRY #1
I thought it be a neat thing to start of each entry with a quote either famous memorable or perhaps from around the forum or myself if im feeling cocking of myself lmfao. Evil took me some time to think hard on picking the quote to start it off with ofcourse but i think this one is what one would call and oldie but a goodie...

"Poker may be a branch of psychological warfare, an art form or indeed a way of life – but it is also merely a game, in which money is simply the means of keeping score." Anthony holden the big deal.

alright so as i said before of to a good start with my first dep back other then a small downswing since my first post back Evil

plans for today are to try and atleast play 3 more sng style tournaments before i get busy with a birthday party im housing as well as a weekend starting early lol but cant complain about that ha
Worship
so ideally a decent cash or to semi dec ones out of these three would be nice, love to do a vid now for posting however just not enough time to devote to it.so this one is a short first post.

planning to stick to sngs for this small sessh simply due to the fact i dont have the time to devote to going deep in a big tournament atm. but hope to atleast advance my totaly br a little bit from this small and final seshh before busy time for me kicks in lmfao.

just a quick shout out i missed one to noob and dozns as well as one to jovi for all the time they have put towards brm. thank you you three esspecially for the man hours alone youve put just to forum browsing and answering easy questions. bravo and well done from me. and side not to jovi hope you take me up on your offer on stake thread. im totally down for it. Agree
Agree

just a quick reminder to all to keep in touch with my new forum (ze one you are reading) as more interesting recaps aswell as some vids to come not mmuch more to say right now waiting on a hommie to come buy for a chill and toke sessh and ill probably play a few sngs when he gets here as hes a poker watching fan for sure (knows the game kinda guy but out of practice)

as always Lady's and Gents see you at the felt! Agree

fyi totally pre drunk for b day bash so hope it didnt show threw to much in this post as well as my poker unless its drunk luck i like drunk luck Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar Dollar

june 30th, 2012

so after about a months break from poker i come back to a rocky start. how ever i will not let a string of losing effect me other then to learn from the mistakes made. and take this deposit back up.

so far ive noticed my play needs to tighten up in the beginning stages of tournaments. today i plan to play tighter smarter and slightly more agressive poker... making bigger pre flop raises and tighting my range up.

first tourny on the agenda today is the $1.10 6 max seater with a $2.5k gtd. i registered about 11 mins late and so far am doing very well. we are just coming off the first break about 27 mins in now and im sitting in 33rd out of 1597 people left. with still over half hour of late reg left im in for the long hawl on this one. Agree Agree

will touch base again on next break for now over and out and will see ya on the felt Thumbs Up

I'm really thinking of starting a blog. Like the look of what you're doing...always good to track your progress and have goals - mega important.

I'm in the midst of making a poker scrapbook.

I decided to try and start each blog post with a poker or non poker quote im gonna do two for this post as i dont think i held to that very long lmfao... so i have quoted macubaas as he touched on a cruial point of blogging or forum reading... to learn from those who have similar interests in this case that would be poker. and he is absolutely right about how we can all learn from each other...

My second quote is an oldie but a goodie... Evil Sleepy Evil

"Nobody is always a winner, and anybody who says he is, is either a liar or doesn't play poker."

- Amarillo Slim

this quote is important for several different reasons, and it ties into my above quote. you can always be better at something. You should never get cocky one cockiness isnt due. everyone is a begginer in comparison to the late and great amarillo slim, and even he knows he could always learn and improve.

for my next section of this post i am going to repost my goals and then do some short term goals. later on after my brm freeroll i will hopefully have a nice vid to post with some commentary!!! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! provided my shitty computer will allow me to run both poker and my recording program lmfao Tongue Tongue Tongue

LONG TERM GOALS:
Start making reg withdraws in next two weeks.
Keep on current path of improving bankroll management as well as skill/ability
Play Danny N live or online (thought i'd throw that in nonchalantly in the mids hehe )
Reach a four digit bankroll and in time five

IMPROVE POKER STATS and PLAY SUNDAY MILLION
like most play the main event of the WSOP which goes with my visit and play in vegas one
lastly on avr. show a profit at end of the week each week

SHORT TERM GOALS
Spade FINAL TABLE 7 MTT TOURNAMENTS THIS WEEK
Spade GET FIRST IN BRM FOR SECOND TIME EVER!~
Spade SPEND AT LEAST 1/4 OF MY ALLOTTED POKER TIME ON RESEARCH AND IMPROVING MY KNOWLEDGE BASE.
Spade CASH IN ANYTHING AND BUILD A SOLID BANKROLL WHILE ALWAYS KEEPING Bank Roll Management in mind ALWAYS!!!

thats all for now video to come llater this morning (pretty please karma Worship ) but for now lady's and gent's as always ill see you on the felt Agree

------------
i just noticed i have accomplished one of my long term goals, ive been playing quite a bit of live poker in the last little while and have now a solid amount of people for a monthly game at my place!!!! go me for succeeding lmfao Agree Agree Agree Agree Agree Agree Agree Agree Agree Agree Agree Agree Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

------------
WELL atleast it was short and sweet... no vid sadly but i ended up calling an all in with two pair aces and jacks on a A-J-8 flop two agressive players with me stuck in the middle... one with ace eight and the other bugger had pocket eights ya!!! he hit is freakin one out eight to cripple me. cheers folks will update on the progress of todays games... peace out bitches Thumbs Up
