Are you guys just sticking to play money now? Or will you keep depositing into a bottomless money pit (that would make no sense)?

I haven't created any poker .es account yet. I'm still waiting for confirmation about that fact. It doesn't make sense that you pay just for the winnings, not for the whole benefit. If I win €1000 but I lose €5000 should I pay taxes for the €1000 I've won? It's crazy. The government says: "Ok, when you play the lottery, you don't declare the loss that you have, just the winnings, so it's the same". They compare poker with lottery but imho should be compared to shares, which you declare the winnings and the loss.

Hi byng0.

In Spain, with lottery, is the same. But if you play poker you will pay 25% of the pot winnings, no matter if your have net wins or not. Great great idea, lol.

I can't imagine anyone will even attempt to play real money games anymore, under those conditions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one can play with profit that way.

And if no one will play for money anymore, there won't be any freerolls to play either.

Are you guys just sticking to play money now? Or will you keep depositing into a bottomless money pit (that would make no sense)?

Of course i don´t go to play nothing until the law changes. As DaMessiah666 says the right thing to pay taxes is like shares.

We are living in a crazy country when mad people rules... But,hey, be happy Spain will win the Euro. And the players will pay taxes in Polonia as they did it last time.
