good fold or bottled it  0
low stacked on table of ten. 7 places paid, had pocket jacks, so raised the pot , got called, flop was j q k
checked it and was raised 16,000 , only had 6,000. so all in or fold ,thought he had straight + 1 to act after me so folded, player after me went all in 14,000, original raiser had flush draw player after me hit his straight 10 to ace. was so releived, but haha turn was a jack. was my fold correct? even funnier went out in 9th anyway haha

Terrible fold - and what is more, if you were short stacked as you say, just shove pre - don't raise/call.

u should rather question your preflop play than the fold, JJ short thats an allin preflop mate,

I've fallen into this same situation and haven't played to long myself. It's new lessons that make players better if they learn from their mistakes. I seem to take them serious enough to keep a stable BR nowadays, but by far not good enough to think I'm a good player. lol

I agree 100%. that's basic. Anyway your 'experiment' tell us : if not your time what ever you did is wrong. If you call maybe your fullhouse or 4 of kind never come. So never hesitate when make decision in poker. how we get that condition ? a lot of train and learn ? lol

Ouch Disagree

Very standard, just shove preflop, dont think about the money, JJ is the nuts being short.
Anyway good to post and ask and learn Smile

Folding a set at the flop is rarely a good play, and at very low stakes it is a bad idea, cause the players there will overplay their hands all the time.

no mather what u raise pre-flop as long as its a big amount of your stack...if u do not go all-inn.

But,, then never fold.....never,,just see showdown...win or lose.. np

pre -flop all-inn = you want to double up...

pre-flop big chunk raise...= you want others to involve ,to maybe triple up or better..but more risky..

I'm sure it's been covered to death, but I'll just add my vote here.

There's exactly 3 hands on that board that have you beat, A10, KK and QQ. Given the relative stack sizes, you can be almost 100% sure you wouldn't be seeing a flop without being re-popped pre if they hold KK or QQ, that really only leaves A10. The rare instance they show up with that hand will just be a cooler, so yes odds are very much in your favor, and it's 100% a call here.

Also, given your stack size, just open ship it if you're <15bb.

Played pre bad, horrible fold post flop.
