Well I don't know about the fame, but that's one ugly woman that's on the lower left corner. I'm sorry. but it look's more like a dude dressed as a lady! lol
Anyway congrats on the $2000.00, but is that considered a lot of money in Austrailia? I work two weeks to earn that much and still not that well off in the states. Just wondering what our government is donig to us here!

Nah - about the same really - our dollar is basically at parity with US$ and wages are probably pretty similar. It's a nice pay day though!

Did you bink that while we were playing?
haha no.. Just this morning, finished about 3 hours ago or something. Had to get up at 4am to play in it !
Was really lucky actually (beyond the obvious) I actually bought in with PKR points.. I had about 100.000 points and I was going to use them for lots of small things, then I thought - f**k it - just buy a $55 ticket and take a shot - and paid off big time !

Yeah- it honestly was a tough field - I knew you would be able to appreciate that !
I think tyger got a bit tired in the end, so did I for that matter.. We were both still really deep for the HU - like 80bb effective stack sizes or so.. Could have gone on a long while, but after about 20min he started 3bet-shoving quite a few hands (like 600k into a 25k pot sort of thing) - I had about 900k he had about 600k and I opened from the button to about 22k or so with 99 and he shoves his whole stack.. I figure he isn't doing this with jj+ (he's going to make a smaller 3bet with those to get some action) - I think occasionally he flips 1010+, but more likely either a smaller pp or a couple over cards.
I time banked for a bit - decided he was a better player than I was and that I should take the opportunity to flip him for, especially since I had the chip lead. So I called and sure enough he flips KQ, my 9s hold.. and /boom
Scott wasn't on my table, neither was mayotacker, but I did have tyger and trymean for the last 2-3hours making life tough !
------------ on a side note: I did get into an argument with somebody about a hand I called on the bubble, made somebody really angry when I doubled up our tables short stack.. One guy gave me a bit of grief - but he kind got owned, because Scott was watching our table as well, keeping an eye on the field as we came closer to FT and he jumped and 100% defended my side, saying he would make same play.
I might post the hand here in a bit actually - see what you guys think.
------------ oh on another note, have you seen my Forum MTT challenge team Doomdy?
Got MikeBizzle and Resdes - both excellent players, especially Mikey.. We killing it so far ! Except this PT bink won't count because only Mikey's $20+s are counting.

There's the hand. So basically - this is on the bubble, 21 remain and 20 get paid, min cash is about $80.
On another table there's a guy with about 1.5bb only
Stickey proceeded to abuse my call for about half an hour after this - he's reasoning was that I shouldn't have doubled up the shorty on the bubble - personally - I think he was just feeling the pressure himself.
He also said I'm an idiot for thinking to call an UTG raise with AJ - going on about how his range is going to be so much better.
I don't know villain well enough to know whether he is the sort to try and fold to a min-cash (in which case his shoving range on the bubble is ultra tight ) or whether he is trying to win the thing (in which case his range is quite wide here).
Stickey argued that he is never going to be pushing worse on the bubble. I argued that he has less than 6bb and he is about to go through the blinds + antes and he's range here should actually be quite wide. Also - I had a giant stack and even if I lost the hand, as I did, I was still tournament chip leader.
I think my AJ call was pretty standard in this spot.. What you guys think?
------------ here's the maths - Lukey72 had 14,500. If he didn't shove and was subjected to the blinds he would lose:
2500 + 1250 + 600 + 600 = 4950
So his stack after blinds would be only 9550 (or ~4bb) with antes still of 600 a piece. Personally - I think that makes his range pretty wide.

First of all congrats m8! another win for me to be jealous of
Pretty standard call if u ask me, specially with that big stack difference and the possibility of killing the bubble. If the guy had 20+ BB i would fold thou, but that's just me, some might think different.

What was i thinking when i played against you in the BRM HU Championship? It's obvious that i would never have a chance of beating you, God knows how have i won one of the games... You are a great player, what a nice prize! A 149 field is not that big, but i believe there were many sharks on it, you must have worked hard to get there. Hope you keep coming talk to us little poor mobsters after celebrating this prize! Congrats mate!

Nicely done. That was a very good pay day, and from what i see above they say it was a tourney with very good players, so coming first was really something.
I laughed though with the lower right pick : PKR set to become #1 poker site
