Hi Noonlion. Nice to see you haven't fallen into the England trap. I agree with your group survivors, but disagree with your winners. I think that Spain will win it, beating Germany in the final.

Do you know what price England are to go out at group stage?

Gl with all your bets on the Euro's. I shall bet on name the finalists and the correct score/ first goal scorer on the final.

GL on the felt as well.

Not sure about England, might be a tasty bet though.

No Rooney for first 2 games is it for England? No Lampard, defence is lacking a solid CB pairing, strike force looks inexperienced.

I can definitely see them crashing out but its far from a guarantee. France have the squad to beat England and the individual flair which England have none of.

Sweden have a stronger squad i think too and standout players.

Should be interesting Thumbs Up

As for Spain, of course a very good reason to be favourite, however the price isn't great and they miss Puyol and Villa two key players and Torres isn't the man he was in 2008.

In my opinion, Poland will not qualify. 4 good players (with the goalkeeper) is not enough to face with Russia, Czech or even Greece.

I'm with Poland mainly due to the home edge, however I know Greece are really hard to break down.

Can't see the Czechs doing too well.

Haha.

Actually though he looks like he's starting toreturn to his old self a bit - a few sparks of skill and the win in the CL final will be a confidence boost.

But yeah, never going to bet him.

The winner: Germany
Top goalscorer: Miroslav Klose

German style is much different than 10-15 and 20 years ago. It is another school of footbal and has atractive style. They didn't manage to win with Spain in 2008 (in the final) and in 2010 (in the semi-final) - 0:1 in both matches. I think this year they will win. I think Spanish players reached the maximum in 2010.

not sure about group D at all- anyone of france/sweden/england can go through in any order and to be fair- that wouldn't be a big surprise, so any predictions here are more or less of a gamble...anyway favs are quite clear according to bookies: spain, germany, holland...but did anyone think greece can win it a few years back? Worship

I remember this Euro 2004 very well : )))
They won with France and the tank of that championships - Czech Republic. Finally Portugal was perplexed in the final. Greece were very well in defence at this time, at also had a lot of luck - especially with Czechs. When they could not stop somebody, they fauled - for example Pavel Nedved had to leave the pitch cause injury. They played awful football, but they fulfilled guidelines of the tactics in 100%.

Sure there's always a surprise team.

England are falling to pieces, Defoe has gone home now due to his fathers death and Terry might not be fit.

England have zero chance of winning.

And yeah the three favourites aren't great value unless u consider Holland around 7/1 - Huntelaar and Van Persie have had arguably the best year of their careers.

The midfield is beastly and fast.

Defence isn't so great but then none of the big teams defences look impregnable.

IMO Crouchy should have been ahead of him and Andy Carroll anyways. With me being an Everton fan I like that Terry isn't fit, Jagielka should get a game now. Oh yeah wtf is he doing putting in that Kelly from Liverpool, he's hardly played and theres much better players. Same old story, we would stand a chance if we had a manager who knew what his strongest squad was, and knew how to play to our strengths, IMO Roy Hodgson isn't that guy.

------------
Wtf just looked at the squad again, there's this guy called Jack Butland in it. He play's for Birmingham LOL He's 19 LOL It gets worse, he hasn't actually played for them. He was on loan to Cheltenham IN LEAGUE TWO. Excellent managerial skills Roy. So if Joe Hart gets injured, we've got two keepers who aren't up to the type of quality required. He's either going senile or needs to lay off the crack.

Actually i think if anyone is up for the job its Roy.

But looks at the hatred form the press towards him before a ball has been kicked - Murdochs seedy empire is disgraceful at stirring up s**t.

Roy has failed without even having played a competitive match because everyone wants him to fail.

Have England supporters seen the squad lately??????

Second rate at best.

No Rooney for 2 games, the best player in the team and a bunch of injuries to some better senior members.

Seriously 7/4 on England not to make it out the group stage looks very tasty.

I agree with the press bit, every tourney we've lost it before it begins because of the press. But his squad is unbelievable IMO. I'm not being biased but why has Leon Osman never been in an England team, he's sooo underrated its unreal. He could play for Turkey or Cyprus, but said he will only play for England. So unlike most of the team he actually wants to play for England, and isn't just after a wage. Maybe next world cup we'll see sense.

A lot of poeple see the Netherlands as the winner. They played in the qualifications like a tank, some of players developped themselfs very much - Huntelaar for example. Great team, but I read the interview with the Dutch legend - Marco Van Basten. He said that there some issues with injuries and some conflicts in the team. He bets for Germany. Moreover, last friendly matches of Holland before Euro2012:
Germany-Holland 3:0
Holland-Bulgaria 1:2
It looks not so well.

Sick with myself..

Had Dzagoev earmarked for top goal scorer and put Iniesta on EW instead, he goes and scores 2...

No way.. Portugal will win 3-1 Germany and will beat Netherlands maybe 2 - 0 .. that's how it will happen!

Group final results 1st place : Germany; 2nd place : Portugal Big Smile

Then Portugal plays Russia and easy win.
