Well a while back i posted some results from some live poker. I dedicated May to playing live and now want to put some perspective on it. I have managed to make the final table in 10/14 events in May, including one takedown. Thinking about going down south and testing out my game in Sin City......

That's not too bad. But still, I play in a similar sized game, which is a league, it's usually the same bunch at the final table every week. But when it gets to the regional games nobody even gets near the final table. I wouldn't advise you going to Vegas and gambling your hard earned money mixing it with pro's. Unless you can afford to throw it away.

I dunno really. Maybe just try to find big tourneys in Canada. One thing I've noticed is in these little local games you get pretty decent players, but when you go to a casino and play in tourneys. You'll come across some real good players. See if your nearest casino has tourneys before going to Vegas I'd say. Because I'd imagine in vegas the quality would step up again but this time an even higher jump than the semi pros you get in casinos.
Good luck in your trip! I only was once in Las Vegas, because of my honeymoon, and I didn't have enough time to play poker. I only played one $30 s'n'g of 40 people and I got in prize ! Depending of the level you play, Las Vegas is plenty of drunks and occasional players.

You are good in your area, but test it first at Middle or high buy in MTT on line and how is your rank before go to Vegas, lol. I am sure high buy in player play well, not many player play crap card for gambling, I mean. Anyway play where you win, not just prestige but lose, what for ? Good luck in your choice.
