'Dead Write' Short Film Trailerl  0
Hello fellow Mobers. Last summer I spent 2 weeks shooting this short film and it is finaly almost ready to hit the short film festival circuit in Canada.

The trailer doesn't say much about the film itself, but it has some beautiful images. I was in charge of the lighting and camera department. I controlled every ray of light that struck out imaging censor.

Here is the Short trailer

Doesn't really show much apart from a few grisly old west looking faces.

Nick Grimshaw...where do I know that name from...think I'll google it.

The Nick Grimshaw who worked on this film is a student at Sheridan College, so I doubt its the same person you recognize.

Although John Stoneham SR. is a hollywood stunt actor who has appeared in many feature films.
If you have seen shawn of the dead Stoney is the Burt Reynolds Zombie that has his face blown off. You should run an IMDB on stoney.

as for the trailer itself I am aware it doesn't say much about the actual film itself. To me the trailer seems like an opening to a television show. But I am not the editor, I am just the cinematographer. All in all the film looks exactly how I wanted it to look. Smile

Yeah I was thinking it looked like a tv series. Yeah of course I've seen Shaun of the dead, I thought that guy looked familiar.

Nick Grimshaw is a presenter of a radio show on bbc radio 1, and a presenter on T4 on channel 4. I hate him, googled him a realised who it was lol.

yea, thats not the same nick grimshaw.

This short film is intended to showcase john stoneham and james yates as directors and is going to be used as a tool to obtain funding for the feature length version of the script. If you ever see a film in theaters called black creek canyon that'll be it,

i think that's a great hobbie or stepping stone to something that would be very interesting to learn about. To understand and have the ability to create and express yourself in what you enjoy is truely admirable. From what I seen in the preview it look's professional and should capture an audience. Good Luck!

Best of luck with it. I hope you get somehwere with it and make a success from your film endeavours.

The trailer looked cool, not revealing at all, but then a lot of trailers are far too revealing.

The only thing that seemed a little out of place is the woman, she seemed too modern.

I've got a half finished films script I'm working on so I have aparticular interest in the writing side.

Thats cool a stunt actor wrote it.
