Phil Hellmuth has just won Event 18 ($2,500 buy-in Seven-Card Razz) and laid hands on his 12th WSOP gold bracelet and $182,793 in prize money! The tournament attracted 309 players and not less than 6 former bracelet winners were among the top 8 finishers, so you can just imagine how tough it was for Hellmuth to reach his 12th WSOP bracelet - the most bracelets by any player in history!

He did it, another WSOP bracelet, Phil Hellmuth is officially an unstopable WSOP bracelet collector. It's not for the money, but for the honour of running against other former bracelet winners, besides all the other players that filled the 309 places in the tourney, and win, becoming the players with most bracelets in the history of WSOP. I don't know if he already had any nick, but "The Collector" would fit just fine on him!

He is the worlds best NLHE MTT player and his record does not dispute it. Phil hellmuth will always be my idol and who i aspire to act like at the poker table. Although this is a non holdem bracelet its still a great achievement nonetheless.

well this is way to go hellmouth- really forgotten that he knows how to win as well as how to act at the tables...this was razz, so at holdem competition is way more bigger and tougher, so these "side" events i think offer a better return for the buck than those well publicized ones, good going hellmouth

Phil Hellmuth is the greatest player ever, even if he does say so himself (every other word). I think it will be 100 years or more before there is someone good enough to beat his record.
Yes, he is a monster but it's true that he plays every WSOP event so ... sooner or later ... he had to win it! And this time playing 7-card razz ... In my opinion is not so valuable. Anyway, his legend is even bigger

Well you know his arrogance just went up another 99%. The times I've watched him play he has an excuse for losing or why he lost, but why not? We all do. It's got to be one of his biggest wins because lately he's been falling out early in the WPT events I've watched. Good to be back on top ay Phil?
Whatever you think of him, he's undoubtedly the best poker player on the planet. His credentials in the biggest poker tournaments in the world stand up against anyone else.
Last year he was the first person ever to finish 2nd in three WSOP events in the same year. Thats how close he came to getting number 12 last year.
The guy for all his faults is phenomenal and the number of cashes in WSOP events blows everyone out the water.
Fair play to him though.. when you are as good as he is, you can afford to be arrogant and mouthy...
