PKR is one of the best rooms with their nice software, but the suckouts there are really horrible. But i like the 10.000$ Master tourney and the nice freerolls at PKR. The payout structure at PKR is ok and the playing style too, but a suckout protection (and i man not a rebuy ) was a good new idea...

Nice results, man. Although when I saw you updated this thread I was HOPING it was going to be to say you crushed some tourney with that $100 ticket - still though, you haven't lost it yet either - so good luck with that.
Hope you get your 4 figure score soon - although that is getting increasingly difficult on PKR, whole bunch of the $20-$30 games don't even pay 4 figures for the 1st prize, only a handful of ways left to score 4 figures..

Yeah- although I am only 85% Diamond and rarely play there any more, in fact, hardly play that much poker any more.. So I don't think I'll be hitting diamond and getting my masters ticket any time soon. But they give similar perks (bday gifts and such) for Platinum.
But no xmas gift, my bday is 15th of January though, so they better bloody well send me out something then!

yeah the $20 maple leaf i came 5th in only paid $750 for 1st still i realized i missed PKR while i was messing around on full tilt and think its one of the better places to play poker, tourneys dont take to long and the players (most of) are not very good.

Yeah, in November I mostly started playing on Stars, but I found I missed PKR too, just something about it.. no other site like it and it's no just the 3D graphics.. It's just a close-community, you see all the same names and such, especially the MTT community there. Playing on Stars just feels like such a lonely experience in comparison.
I'm not really playing much poker at all these days, but when I am it's probably 50:50 for stars and PKR.

didnt cash with the $100 ticket came 92/204 but the ticket only cost me $9, thought id deal with not cashing by binking the late night, not quite but 6th is ok balance now stands at about $200 after cashouts and got about $50 in random tickets so see if i can keep it going all through 2013.

Late Night is my biggest loss since the numbers declined on PKR, I used to love that game - because depending on various timezones and daylight savings it generally starts for me anywhere from around 8am-11am local time - which means I am wide awake and attentive and everyone else is tired and/or drunk. Which is usually the exact opposite for me haha. But the 1st prize used to always be well and truly over $1K. Now 1st is close to what 2nd used to be and it's getting worse. So much value has been lost from that game.
Bummer about the $100 ticket.. Still though, can't win them all. And I know from experience plaing $70/$100/$150 games on PKR, the field is heavily weighted towards the sharks. There are some really good regulars at that level. You can play the $50 games and they're still 80% donkeys, but push beyond that on PKR and it's just the same few names in every game and they're all good/winning players.
------------ I think the only thing that even makes the > $50 games worth playing on PKR is the dead money thrown in by the lotteries and to a lesser extent, the satellites.

Helllllll YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, BABY!
Good stuff - if you're looking for a decent way to blow-off a $20 ticket, if $20 is over your regular stage, I'd suggest playing a SPEED $20 HU SNG.. I suggest speed, simply because the games have a very small edge - meaning even if you end up against the best HU player in the world, they'll still only have a small edge.
If you DO happen to get a tough opponent, just slow the game down a bit and let the blinds go up, get it so it's just shove/fold then it's pretty well anyones game..
This is a slightly cynical attitude of course: But basically I'm offering a pretty much 50:50 shot of doubling up to $40.00 - whereas if you play a SNG with more players or even worse, an MTT - then you're really lowering your odds of converting the freeroll prize ticket into real cash. I actually think it's a little bit unfair that PKR are running so many freerolls with tickets as prizes, it would be fine it the prize was like 20 * $1 tickets or something.. But as it is, it just forces freeroll winners (usually micro stakes players) to ignore bankroll management and essentially take a 'shot' at a game well above their usual level.
Anyway - big congrats on the take down - and seriously, wish you all the best (luck) at converting to actual cash! Let us know how it goes!!

i think it's my day to play some poker i listened to your advice to play HU match but because of no-limit HU games are way too frustrating for me i played my favourite : " regular PLO"
i got some nice hands and minutes after there's 38$ in my pocket
