You can wait as long as you like but you will miss out on your daily shot if you do so. If you have 40 shots at the end of today for example you won't have 41 when you log in tomorrow. Your daily shot is there but it doesn't get used until you use all your other shots.
This has been explained in a few threads quite recently but I guess it's not easy to find.

Take your time and play them slow and steady! Or, try selling them to one of your fellow Mobsters for say, 2000 Mobpoints! Just joking mate, good luck on cracking the safe!

You can wait for the day you will think it will be the best for you. I did that the last time i got 50 mobshots. But there was no acumulation with the daily free mobshot. But if you want to wait to see the safe richer, you can do it, and you will be guaranteeing 50 atempts to open it when it has more Money. I haven’t opened it when i tried, but i hope you make it, i’m with all the mobsters!

I've tried it in different ways and still havent wone...in fact its a long time since I won anything on the calendar so a few mob shots would come in handy. I though t we might have seen one or two free tickets to the pokersdtars sunday million this week as they are doing it for half price and there are lots of other promo freerolls around....oh well....keep trying!!
