In case you didn't read our news on Event #24 (Omaha Hi-LowSplit 8-or-better) this morning, we can inform you that Phil Ivey (8 WSOP bracelets), Scotty Nguyen (5 WSOP bracelets) and Joe Cassidy were the last 3 players fighting for a first prize of $294,777 and a gold coveted bracelet. The Cassidy guy is obviously no newbie, Scotty might have a tough game here, but a 3:1 lead isn't so bad if you're Scotty.

He is capable of either making a sweet comeback or losing it quick.

So Ivey was the one left behind by Cassidy and Nguyen… Well, someone had to go and being all so close when they got to that step, anyone could reasonably fall. There goes the 9 bracelet objective, passing to the next event he will (?) be playing this year. After this, Cassidy got a 3-1 chip lead so everything is on his side, except expertise, which Nguyen, with 5 bracelets, gathers more.
