More often than not I'm folding this hand here. dally6800 was stacking me on the flop and turn so I put him on a boat or on a draw to one. I've folded in this spot many times to find myself saving quite abit of money. Being short stacked I was pot commited anyway and there is the llow possibility I'm ahead. So I deceided do or die in this case. It's not too often I commit to a 2 outer. Two hands earlier I laid down AArag rag to a PFR and I would have flopped quad A's. If it wasn't for that hand I would have laid this one down.
Thanks, I'm trying to clear my deposit bonus as well so thst's a motivator as well. I'm almost there. If I do clear it, it'll be the first time I clear one. Flopped a royal one other time and everyone folded so I only won a very small pot. This one was tougher to play but worth more in the end. Yes I'm Mellowmax on Stars...have been for a long time. Magnanimus is my avitar...his eyes are killer.

Very nice got Royal flush, Did your opponent fold ? I saw the pot $3.29 is same with you bet, I think too hurry go all in, make your opponent figured royal flush. half pot maybe invite him to raise.
Hi Serpang, sorry I couldn't post the hand to show how it went down. He had the boat by the turn and was betting hard into me (in effect he was stacking me). At the river he put me all in...I had .23 left in my stack and he wanted it. I'm sure he put me on a flush and didn't expect the royal. He nh'd me in the chat box.

The hand doesn't tell me much as you posted it here, i would love to see it from the beginning...
But what i can say for sure is that you should never fold aces preflop even if you get dry aces. In the worst case scenario you can call the bet if you feel that the hand is not strong enough to reraise
I requested the hand history from Stars...I'll post it for you if I acquire it. Presently I can only go back 100 hands and I must go back much farther to retrieve it.

I think his bet on the turn was really small so your call was good even you have 1 out to the river and your very lucky to hit the royal flush...Also i understand that you have flush on the turn which is already good and hope he checks on the river...Anyway, well played hand and a good win....

Maybe it's a downswing or runin bad...when I hold aces playin PLO I get raped bad. They hardly ever work for me and cost me lots of money. I'm tryin to clear a deposit bonus and am almost there. I've got 6 more weeks to earn 30 more points. My roll went from $80+ down to $24 before I started to climb out. Now I want to see the flop before I commit too much money, variance is high enough in PLO without my added to it. Just abit gun shy now. On the up side, I just earned my 4th tourney ticket, this time playin PLO hi/lo. I won 1 in a Stud tourney, 2 in PLO, and 1 in PLO hi/lo. I spent I ticket in a holdem tourney and didn't make it thru the first hour. I play very little holdem now...some Zoom and that's it.
------------ I won another tourney ticket tonight playing PLO hi/lo. I took your advice Macubaas and played more hands with A's. Worked out well, thanks for that.
PLO downswings are huge...when playing PLO your BR should be big enough to handle this huge downswings.. Because if upswings comes you still have money to bet and win big pots...I like PLO because of the actions involved in hands that are played....
