A lot of new WSOP gold bracelet winners this year. Competition is becoming tighter each year, with the increasing number of professionals. The prizes are more than attractive, so there’s nothing to be admired about, except for the risk that is to invest in such a strange career like pro poker player. Thinking about it, it may be more risky to invest in trying to be a good football player then to be a good poker player, taking in consideration the scenario. One don’t have to able to stand in front of his top ranking opponents, he can do so only on the internet without the need of having managers or sponsors. Those can turn some things easier, but they aren’t one of the most important parts in the poker scene.

Looks like 2008 was agood year to set yourself up for 2012! Maybe we can all try the 4 year hitch ans set ourselves up for 2016. Its like any knockout sport really...take golf for example...a nobody has just won the US open and some of the big stars have recently missed the cuts in major trophy's. Sometimes, there is just nothing you can do but win or lose!
