Instead of the ordinary Weekly Rant, Daniel Negreanu posted a short video on youtube called Checking in from WSOP this time (July 16th). In the video, Daniel talks about, for example, how unlucky he has been so far at the 43rd Annual World Series of Poker.

At least he didn't whine about bad beats (can you imagine if Hellmuth did one of these?)
The bluff he never made - I'll bet that could have changed his tournament and just goes to show that one mistake at WSOP level can entiterly f**k your event up and end it.

Playing enough time to know the difference between bad luck and bad play, admitting he had bad luck at this year’s WSOP, although also admitting he had a lot of luck before. No that’s something we aren’t used to see in a poker player: humbleness. What a way Daniel Negreanu has to define he has been tilting during this event, he said he hit his “boiling point” a couple of times these last few days. It’s great to see D.Negreanu is very up to date with what is surrounding him in terms of global reality. When he talks about economics, just to justify why there aren’t as much more players in this year’s WSOP as it was expected, he’s is showing a lot of culture. But, on the other side, the way he talks about the events he’s going to get in, although he says he’s very excited, he talks about so many that anyone can get lost, I mean, I would like to ask him “how much are you investing in your game?” He’s also entering One Drop, which may be the heaviest for the wallet, but can also bring big returns.
------------ I didn’t said this before, but i am one of those who sees Daniel Negreanu as one of the best poker players from nowadays and I believe he will still make his fans proud of him winning something great just before summer holidays.

Even great players like Negreanu relies on luck to afford to win big tournaments, evryone can experience badbeat, that's what make poker so lovely and keep adrenaline running through our body while flopping every street.

Yeah I did see this video and he believe that the bluff would have made the difference, but who's to say. I do like Negreanu and it's great that he actually takes the time to speak to us on his rants. he's definitely an easy guy to like besides being one of the best players out there.
