I was just about blinded out, and came back in 2 hands. Then doomdy was moved to another table.
NOW it starts...
The elecricity went out here (never happens), and the PC crashed just after Doomdy was moved. aaaahhhrrgggg By the time I found the problem and logged back on, I was out of chips and ended up in the big Blind with less than the BB. And it was on the Bubble !! I was last and going to be Bubble boy. Then.... I lucked out somehow hitting trip 6s, and won the hand.
From then on, I played the whole tournament coming from last place...and ended up 4th !!!!!
LMAO ! Unbelievable.
What a night. I might just play on PKR again. Like real soon. lol
Screenshot just to prove it hey? Great story, I thought.

And doomdy is not even in the first 24 paid places… I don’t know if he noticed it was you sitting in the same table – perhaps he did, when we come here so often we tend to remember of some of the nicks, for more strange that some can be (not your case) – but now having you posting this increadible success with a screenshot of the rank which not includes his name and calling him to see it… it can be tough for him. I already read his comment and he doesn’t seemed worried, after all he still ended up in the money. What a great recover from you. Congrats!

He knows it was me from the previous post (see link)
And I don't think it's tough for him, he wins LOTS on PKR. Really. This was just one Tournament. Just thought it was a great story after all the problems I had, and I posted I would give up in the previous post to him. (software stuff) In the end it came out alright.
Nice story IslandJack 121$ to finish 4th in a 3,50 tourny is pretty good also, nice cash!
I remember winning a SnG with 10 chips left before the money one time live a couple of years ago. It was actually 20% of a BB at the time, blinds were 25/50. Of course winning so many pots in a row requires a lot of luck but you can't get lucky if you don't try. I've seen players leave the table without counting their stacks many times live, usually because of frustration... And I'm sure some of them had chips left.

Slightly OTT:
But about 2 weeks ago I was registered in a whole heap of games, maybe ten. And suddenly all the wall socket power cut-off (lights stayed on). Now - this isn't unusual, there is some dodgy wiring where we live and often plugging in one too many devices does the trick. Normally we just switch of the last connected device (usually the Ketlle) - wait a moment and flick the power back on the at the mains.
But this day - nothing would work- as soon as I would flick the mains on, they would auto-shutdown, it really wasn't happy with something in the house. I started to panick because PKR doens't unregister you from MTTs if you close the client.
So eventually had to go through the whole house, switch everything off at the wall, wait about 10min - flick the 'test' button a couple time until it was happy- then finally got power again.
Was so stressful - luckily I only ended up missing the first few levels of 2 of the games... But I was so worried I wouldn't get it fixed and end up flushing $300 worth of buyins down the drain!

There are many types of electricity generators, and in Portugal one can find them from €70 to €200, not needing to make bigger investments just because of the computer. I had one for a long time because where i live it’s usual to the light to go down, specially when there’s stormy weather, and it worked just fine. Then i bought a better PC and i kept the same UPS, but the first time the light went down, i realized it wasn’t enough, because it only supported my PC and the monitor was black.
