Just finished 30 in 0.10 50$ add on Pokerstars to 0.61$ out of over 2700 players. Lost with AK against A-10 for the chiplead a pot over 255000, still had 66000 left. Lost the last chips on a straight and flush draw, but i didnt hit, so bad luck, otherwise i would have been back 150K. Suck out.

Finish 30th place ,out of 2700 you said bad luck ? Don't just look how you lose, but how you can survive until get 30th place, otherwise you will frustrating and your play will down Well done and good luck next
yeah finishing 30th out of 2700 is good...specially pokerstars tourney where everyone shoves with any 2 cards....it like bingo tournament......good finish for you...out classing those 2670 was a great job...good luck on your next tourney....

set up a stars account the other day to see what the fuss is about wanna build a bankoll there without depositing. cause appaently stars is one of the toughest ones to do that on. they aint got a no deposit bonus but i got 100 points fo doing a survey. hopefully i can do somthing with them

It’s so sad when we have lots of outs and the table doesn’t gives us what we were looking for, straight draw and flush draw and… bang, just another useless card. At least you got to paid places, it wasn’t that much but you did better than 2670 of the 2700 players that entered that tourney. Think positive.

how did u make 100PP?what survey is that?can you tell me how to earm 100pp.....Im having problems building br in pokerstars.....already made some money at one point but got busto......yeah your right its really tough to build br there.....

Frankly i do not think pokerstars is good poker platform to build up a bankroll.
The site is great at higher limits where you can find good players to play with but on micro stakes my advice would be to try out other platforms: 888, yachting

does 888 offer freerolls?last time i check, i cannot find freerolls in 888...i wanna try 888 also because many has commented that its a good poker site....

Look at the good side of it, you multiplied your investment by six, not bad at all. This is one of moments in which we think “have i just been playing for three hours to win $0.60?”. But, at games with this buy-in, we know we can reach the dollars, but that means a loto f work. The way you lost it here wasn’t nice and i bet it upset you, you even wanted to share it here and you did well, but you are doing a great job at those tables.
You did very well to wind up ITM in one of these Stars tourneys. Most don't ever come close. Sorry for the way you went out and surely you played your A game. You should be proud of that fact because it's a fact one can play their A game and still lose. Could be also even if you hit your draw it winds up being 2nd nuts. If I may offer a suggestion, try the freerolls to win tickets to the Sat/Sun Round 2, 2K freerolls. Took awhile and I've managed to win 10 tickets. Most recent was last nite in an 8 game...6.5 hours to win the ticket in a field of 3888 players...top 48 earned one. Needless to say that's a ton of playing mixed games for a ticket but its free. Doing this also gives one an opportunity to try out different poker games to see if any of the other variants suits one better. For example. I now know PLO, PLO hi/lo, Limit HE, and 7 Stud play better for me compaired to HLHE, 2-7 Lowball, and Razz...need to work on these more. In the end my goal is to be able to say you name it I'll play it. Maybe worth a try?

Definately on Pokerstars 30 out of 2700 is a good effort, though as usual you wont make big bucks from small buy ins on stars and you have to mix it up a bit into the higher stakes, and watch the playing style change. Well done though and good luck for next time.

i would have to agree that stars is not the most friendly place to build bankroll from scratch, they do run lots of freerolls (every hour i believe) and if you place in the top 50 or so you can qualify for weekly final which has $1000 if i remember- so this is it, other sites, especiallysmaller ones tend to offer more ways to build from zero

that always happens at jokerstars..uncountable times i lost preflop all win with double ace ou double K to callers with bigger stakes..i think its to make it goes faster..

Normally there are to many players at the stars freerolls, but the 50$ added tourneys and the 100k "freerolls" are verry interested for micro limit players. For the other frerrolls there you need 4-5 hours or more for a prize.
