Live in Saskatchewan Canada, where usually in the summer we average around 23-30 degrees celsius (73.4 - 86 fahrenheit for you yanks).
Last 4 days, we've seen temperatures hovering around 40 celsius (104 F). So freaking hot, even the AC can't keep up. Currently sitting here with AC cranked, surrounded by 3 fans, and I'm STILL boiling.

Just be happy about it .. so many things you can do with that weather.. just go to the beach for example.
In Porto it's like 30 atm and average 33 during all week but last month and half it gets to friday and it rains friday and saturday.. happened ALL MONTH. I think it's a curse for people like me who work all week with sun shining and then can't go partying because it's raining.. so sad.

So hot, I can't even think
I can't believe your experiencing that high of temps up north! I mean we generally head that way for vacation in the summer because it's generally so much nicer. Actually I go into northern Montana near Glacier National Park and rent a cabin then tool around. Hope it changes!
It's been ridiculous here in the northeast where we have some hot days, but yes, this 100+ poop is for the birds. What's worse is, it will thunderstorm tghen, the sun comes back out and the humidity is so high it feels like your sitting in a steam bath.
Been running my AC constant with no downtime so it should make for a nice electric bill. Just hope it breaks soon!

That's funny, I'm literally like less than 2 hours away from the Montana border. Yeah usually the temp doesn't get this high, and we've been paying for it with some freak thunder storms. I think we've had a recorded number of tornados in our province this year as well, a few as close as a couple miles outside our city limits.

haha thats not as bad as over here in ontario, i live right on the us border and its been usually 100 degrees F almost everyday, we're used to it being fairly cold around here to because of all the great lakes n such
spent two years each working out of Europe and Africa in the summer no less....smokin hot all day long. Not unusual to see 47c air temp at 10am and near 60c on the tarmac. Near froze to death the first year back here. Wreacked me for working off the ice runways in the far North hauling cargo and heating oil. Gets hot here at times although we know it's gonna cool right off again.

Ahhhh.... The advantages of living on an Island like tenerife.
A cool breeze from the sea washes over the island at the worst of times (wich is "at the most" usually 30-35 celcius during a couple of months in the summer), making it all very bearable. No airco needed here.

we dont have to worry about that in the uk. there was ground frost in some places this morning. i had to dig my beanie hat out to take the dog for a walk. lol, wtf? its the middle of the summer and were getting high's of 17c. May was hotter. British weather is soo rediculous. it never knows what to do. oh apart from rain. it knows how to do that well enough
