Congratulations mate, that prize is really considerable, thats about how much i won from poker so far
Now make sure to keep us posted with your evolution, and btw a small tip for your new laptop: make sure to have ssd, it's a huge difference compared to hdd
Congratulations, I don't remember anyone posting a win like that before; Respect... It must have something to do with the experience gained from the BRM HU tournament

hey thanks alot everyone. just some more info on my results and how my bankroll got started;
my bankroll started on mansion poker all because of the wonderful people at bankrollmob. so thank you very much for that
i cracked the safe one day so made my points upto 5k withdrew that and put it on mansion for the brm gift. then started grinding the great structured mtt's on there. ive had a few results on there from the $1 rebuys and the odd $10 one. (not great brm but like to take the odd shot lol)
had over $500 in my account.
then the reason i found myself in a $33 buy in tourny is that i won a $3.30 rebuy satalite only spent $6.30
i was going along steadily so decided to make the add on at the first break. (i got a result in a tourny the day before so had $667 in my account so thought why not)
wow this is long. anyway it was the toughest tourny ive played, people played really tight and good so had to really think about how to get paid with my hands (not used to doing that hehe)
oh one last thing, i won my way into a $33 satalite on saturday night from $4.40 to win a seat in the 200k gauranteed on sunday so hopefully i will be into my next biggest tourny ever on sunday hehe.
good luck to everyone on and off the felts and thanks again for the kind messages

Posted by jessthehuman: Kicking ass - withdraw some is definitely a good idea - taking shots at $5/$10 is probably a not so good idea.
Have to disagree, imho even take a step further, NL2000 is very fishy lately, 2,5 buyins must be more then enough for this fishy level
This is true - but even the fish get lucky sometimes, for nl2k I recommend at LEAST 4BI
Psh, NL2k is for donks. Move up to NL5k where they'll respect your raises
Gratz Bullet Tooth for the bink, feels great to win a big amount eh? I'm betting the wife was pretty happy to hear it, if she gave you a hard time about poker before, she probably won't now

Nice result after more than 8 ours of hard work Don't know if I could keep myself awake at 5 o'clock in the morning I used to play MTT's but now i prefer cash games. You can quit the game if you want (if you have to go to the toilet for more than 5 minutes )

Very nice, congratulations! Those were the best $33 you ever spent on the game, or did you had a tournament token for this? If so, even better. After 8h34 of play, geting the first prize is the best consolation prize one can have. If you think about that as a normal day at work (8h) with the extra half hour, you have been paid at $703 per hour: wow! I was going to ask you how were you in the ranking til the final table but then i decided to read comments and saw you already explained it. Maybe it can be a good catch if you think about entering this $33 once a week…

I know what you mean. People at this level don’t go all the way with their hands just to see what comes on the table, either you have what it takes to know how to deal with the raises or you better start thinking on how to risk counting only with your hand, deciding the best moments to re-raise and take the pot before the showdown… Heavyweight poker!

lol i was thinking about the hourly rate when i finished. i thought ive never earned this in a month nevermind a day. im going to be leaving myself around a grand so i'l be playing the same buy ins as i was before this win. somewhere between $1 and $10. more $10 ones now tho i think and less $1 ones. hopefully i will be playing the $200k on sunday if my $33 satalite goes well on saturday.
thanks again for the replies

I think this is by far the biggest win i have seen so far here in BRM. Well done there, great prize. For that prize money it worth playing so many hours. I wish you to nail the next big tourney of yours.gl
