Played one of those pokerscholl freerolls on Stars with 10k and that was my last one jeez never again.
I mean, was a good result considering. 9th out of 10k puts me in the top 0,09 % lol but for some lousy $0,06 it's a pointless effort.
Wish they'd increase the prizes on those...
At least was good freeroll practice for the BRM ones Big Smile

wow well played. i think that much effort should be rewarded a bit better than 6c. thats a bit crazy.
thats why i dont play at stars. the fields are way too big.

but still, money aside it was a fantastic result.
really well done and well played. Big Smile Worship

if u like freerolls ,play those which give u a ticket for the weekend 2.000$ prizemoney freerolls...on pokerstars

those tickets are valid the whole year ,,so if u want u can save those tickets ..as much as you can ,,then play them all in a row to get a quick and cheap bankroll..and collect $$$$$$ ..let's say end of year.

This does not guarantee a win ,but at least with some skill the last month of the year should be a payday for anyone who'd try this...(itm in those should not be to hard and i've won such 2000$ freeroll on pokerstars (the 10 and 20 fpp ''vip-freerolls'' with 500 and 1000$prizemoney / also won those and also interesting to play).

That's exctualy an idea for me for coming year,,but i want to save step-tickets..as much as possible.then clime up the steps ladder ...

Oh my.
I would have never played such a tourney for that amount of money Smile
How long it took you to win that six cents

I am sure there are freerolls with much better value than this one Smile

Well done on your finishing position though.

what a crummyy pay out for such a big field, but well done on your placing, lukasb Thumbs Up
maybe in future you will go for the freerolls with less players and more money,if you can.

Well played and unlucky on the pay out structure. The best thing to do in my experience is play the Deposit freerolls on Pokerstars (the 100k's). Even I have played them a few times and managed to finish 2nd twice.

Gl to you all................

Well thats the thing, i thought it would be way faster since it started as a normal freeroll donkfest and after 30 minutes more than half the field is gone. But then ppl start to tighten up and it just went on and on.
4 hours later i got my paycheck ahah . Well its like i said, was good experience and not to repeat.

@ MarcWinz , yeah those 100k freerolls seem nice but cannot play those coz of their time schedule Sad .

@ uhhcallmi , Seen those also but again, even if i got the ticket for the $2k one... time schedule Sad Sad
If anyone knows good freerolls that start from 11 pm GMT+1 plz let me know.

You mean to tell me you played through 10,00 players to finish 9th and it is only worth $0.06. That is lousy although I agree it is good practice, but for 9th out 10K there needs to be a little more prize money. great performance though!

Thats a very long hours of playing......the win was very small...that is the problem with pokerstars freeroll.....very large number of players and you should play long hours....I play before at fulltilt daily dollar....The number of players is also very large but if you survive the first 1.5 hours your already in the money......GL good results....

"those tickets are valid the whole year ,,so if u want u can save those tickets" uhhcallmi
They have no expiry date on these tickets (as far as i know), as i have heard some people have still got them 2+ years after they been issued

Yes i agree with u that its a pittance for the time spent, but its the end goal(month) that can be profitable.if u make it to top prizes $150 (no VPP) - $1500 (20+ VPP) a month, but too do this u have too play just about every game 24/7( i tried do once but hell i was wreck after that month, I don't know how the leader board winner(s) do it Confused )

I can make $1(top 500- no VPP's, $5 if got 20+ VPP's) & $00.50 (top 2000- no VPP's, $2.50 if got 20+ VPP's) just by playing 25 + games per month,
I have been playing Open league for over 1year, as i set myself Challenge/goal too get $00.00 to $50 from just playing freerolls I just finished this goal end of last month, been just over year too do LOL, but i had too play OL & NZ $150 nightly give away & ANZ league (but these stopped last Nov 11) & BigGame(NZ)(stopped now, lasted about 2 months).
I had too just play OL, as there was no other way too build my bankroll intill i came across BRM which helped too reach goal faster, (thanks again BRM)

Its good practice for beginner's BR and people what make few dollar's,
I played about 2-3 on average a day thats 30000 players, 0 - 5 hr's a game
Total Players: 84985 so far this month , there was 200000 + months ago, 10000 player usually in tournament.
but takes alot time, effort to do Big Smile alot patience to play these Big Smile

The best finish i done was 4th but that was old PSO league, best finish this new openleague format been 40th.

So well done Thumbs Up lukasb Thumbs Up Worship All Thee Best Thumbs Up

Joke: If you were a rapper you could use the name 6 cents Smile I am glad you didn’t told us the time it got you to put the hand on those 6 cents, the most hardly 6 cents that you received for working on your game, i guess. But, as you also say, the Money wasn’t the point of that. You now have more knowledge on dealing with big fields and you just have to apply that knowledge to other MTT you will be playing in the future that can pay you a bit more than those 6 cents.

I have to agree with you, you basically spend so much time just for a minor pay check...

I think all that want to play or real can take either a no deposit bonus or simply make a small deposit Blink

I think the prize amount is irrelevant.

What is relevant is your ability to finish 9th in a field of 10000. Be proud of that!

Even if you play MTTs with better prizes, if you add up the number of hours spent on those, very few of us will achieve a decent hourly wage.

Good effort for a little payout...but no doubt lots of points earned in the Online PokerSchool league which will entitle you to more freerolls if you come above a certain position over the month.
