does any body else think it would be a good idea for bankrollmob to set up a "poker club" on pokerstars so that we could have BRM exclusive tourneys (not freerolls) and get to play together with just other mobsters, i think this would be a good idea and think it could be alot of fun.
mabee even have a proper league without the standard all in donk mayhem we get in the freerolls.
what do you all think?

There already is one but its not very active. Maybe if you could be a good manager of it and provide good buy ins plus game formats which are a little different to normal ones, and create new tournaments often, people will join. I'm deffo interested in it.

Yeah there is a lack of interest because of most people not wanting to deposit & stuff.
I'm always up for it tho (if I have time)

There's already an existing club, forget who's (maybe Jovica or Retribution) - with quite a few BRM members..

In the past BRM tournaments with an actual buyin amount (even <$5) have been incredibly unsuccessfully - lucky to even fill 1 table..

Unfortunately the vast majority here will not play a game that you have to pay for.

i am definately interested in the idea of a more active microstake type buy in as i try to keep my gambling to micro and free sadly yes free online poker... simply due to lack of funds in the past..but with my new cash flow sitch i will be very active on the forums over my little vaca time for the next month and more active with my own blog/ this idea of having the mobsters unite and play to save the face of poker as i myself have learned a thing or two from the more exp. players here..

i think the main issue is that we are a site spread thin across many different time zones Confused and the fact that the free money draw to the no deposit bonus leads to alot of freeroll grinders not that theres anything wrong with it... its just well frankly its is own game freeroll grinding even compared to micro stakes or <5 games.

id love to follow some online "home" mob games on my poker blog and see about getting more people inclined to throw a little money towards there account. its really the best way to get a good feel for real online play... as i said before i consider freerolls there own type of poker and it take a certain kind of player to try and grind them out. Agree Agree stoned and talent poker blog soon to be vlog and chalk full of poker vids Agree Agree

well if there is already a group i would like an invite to join it, this would deffo be the icing on the cake to to make my first deposit on stars as at the moment when i have some time to play i generally stick with what i know mabee theres other mobsters out there now like me who were not aware of it and would be up for it . just for fun if there was a tourney set up soon weekends would be best for me but even if it was a micro game id be happy to stick a tenner in a pot to get the numbers up and stake a few people in. main advantages of doing this is to get some feedback from other mobsters about my play.

------------
also if you can talk the adim ino sending out a mobmail about it or somthing you could probably get a better responce, dont know if they would do that though.

i'm not sure if this idea is viable- doubt if there are a lot of players would want to play for cash, especially since brm is mainly a no deposit bonus site, so main "clients" are micro limit players, who are not very keep on spending their cash on playing anything else that a freeroll Big Smile but i hope i'm wrong- i like the idea, hope you will succeed at it.

We should make more HU tournys, it's always fun ^^ But a bit hard to organize compared to a standard MTT!

I think Jovi and Retribution both have a BRM home game!

I'm a member of two BRM poker clubs on stars, one is administered by dozn01 and the other by Suck my fl0p. Both are inactive.

The problem is only the club administrator can set up a game and once they lose interest the club dies

I played in the dozn01 tourney and waited for the next for one...it never happened. So if you start a club I'm in. Bemy had a last longer in a BRM freeroll one time and I played that as well. Basicly I'll play just about any tourney hosted by a BRM member. The more the better.

This actually isn't true - only an administrator can add new members to the group - HOWEVER - they can upgrade any other admin to whatever the other status is (manager? or whatever) and then anyone can create new games.

Ah right I didn't know that. Unfortunately neither of them seem to have done this. Although in this case if the admin isn't around to admit new members the point is moot.

Stars is the only room with this nice offer for private tourneys. Everybody can create tourneys at the best online poker room, i think thats great.

This is definately a call that only the bankrollmob administration could say if it' possible or not...

It would be indeed a way for all mobsters on pokerstars to play between them Smile

i was thinking that a group set up by the BRM guys would have a lot more credability than one set up by one of its members and would probably get a lot more players involved

and i definatly couldnt set one up as a group by a player called takingdrugs would have no credability whatsoever Big Smile

We tried to create an official homegames club when it first arrived, but we quickly discovered that there was a limit to how many players you could have in the club - so we couldn't really do much with it. Also, we then later found out that we were actually not even allowed to create a club - only regular players can do it. So we decided to remove it again.

If you see any "official" BRM clubs then you can be sure it's a fake - there is no official BRM homegames club.

Those mobsters’ clubs you refer to, they were used when BRM moved along with the HU Tournament, and it were the players who was responsible for organizing meets for the games. About the home games, we can always try to get in touch with someone who already owns a club or creating a new one and come over here to announce a tourney. It will be only for those who are registered at the club, so it will be a restricted one, and i am sure it can be as fun as if it was oficial.
