Wish I could play on PokerStars so I could participate, but I guess I'll keep wishing since there seems to be no light in sight to bring U.S. players back for cash games. Ohwell! keep playing at Carbon, it's not that bad.

Went out relatively soon Sad ... Was trying to see the ceremony on tv and play at the same time. not a good combination.
So in the end the tv got all my undivided attention lol.
Congrats to the ones that made a buck with it Smile

things were unfolding really quickly in the tournament- most of the time players were in the situation where they were short-stacks, and 5 min blinds did their thing to put the pressure on, a bit surprised to see lots of dudes sitting out- they probably thought that they can sit it out to the money, but they were left disappointed for sure Big Smile

yeah you should check the forum more often- i would have missed this one too, but someone posted the info in a new thread here, same story with free ticket to micro millions main event...it pays to visit the forum more often Big Smile about the tourney- happy you, this was not the only 50K freeroll, this was the "opening" one- for the opening of olympic games, stars will have a "closing" one, to celebrate the closing of olympic game, cannot remember the date now, i believe august 12, check stars page...
