Let me know how it works.

You get a free trial about 2-3 months on poker tracker and 30 days holdem manager two. So you got 4 months free software in that time you can bild your bankroll to buy a license. Thumbs Up

This is probably your best bet. Obviously you can always pirate one of the commercial packages too, if you have no moral qualms about doing so - you can find it pretty easy on torrent sites.. I tried the software like that ages ago - because I didn't want to buy it with limited PKR support until I'd had a go.. and the trial license stuffed up for me and insta-expired..

Anyway- the pirate copy worked fine.. Although, I have a legitimate copy now.

Personally - when it comes to software piracy - I think it's pretty well victim less if you have no intention of purchasing the software any how, but I also think - if you can afford to purchase the software and you WOULD if you couldn't get it free, then you should support the people making it.

I have to agree with the post above, download both HEM and PT and try them out...

From what i remember for PT you have 2 months free and for Hoeldem Manager one month free Blink

fpdp is a good bit of kit, i found it as useful as pt3 and a bit less confusing, i only wanted the hud but the whole db really came in handy. if you right click on the hud displays all the stats come up in a list, easy to read and easy to use and not at all difficult to set up if you follow the instructions. 1 hour max including downloads and installations, and best of all free for life Smile

Anyone knows what are the minimum hardware requirements for FPDB? I would like to give it a try but I'm not sure my old notebook can support it. Sad

Someone already told you this, but i have a new strategy for the same idea. You know you have several good HUD software which, unfortunately, you have to pay for. And some of them already have several versions, which probably mean they are each time better and more complete. But, if you don’t want to spend a cent with this, you can go for the trials. And i believe you will still be able to find trials of some of the first versions of these softwares, which mean you will be saving yourself during more than half na year with this. The only problem is that, each time the trial ends, there goes all the data.

seems to list all the major ones, having a problem on ipoker and will not track tourneys, might have just configured it wrong but will keep updated. like has been said, you can use the trials, ect but when the trial finishes you lose your data, fpdp is freeware and should not cost you a penny long run unless you are an awful player. also if you have saved your past hand historys, you can do a bulk import, so your data gets a kickstart. i would always use this over one you have to pay for, its perfect for what i need, insta stats on the table, havent tried multi table, but find it so inpersonal to be switching between table. i like to sit down and know thy neighbour. let me know how you get on if you decide to use it, and hope you all run well!!!

I wasn't able to find something saying about the min requirements or recommended stuff...

Still, i can tell you from experience with all HUDs that you do not have problems if you open just 2-4 tables, more than 4 might be a problems with a weak PC.

Thanks for the info. I just bought a new PC anyway, I guess i3 should be enough.

More than enough, and you guessed it pretty good, on poker clients or huds the most important thing is the processor( i have an i5 2500k @ 4.5 ghz btw) and ram(4 - 8 gb should be perfect) Blink

This is for multi-tabling(over 6 tables in general), for those that play 2-4 tables any decent pc should do the job.

Well, since we got into computer specifications, what do you think is the minimum monitor size to be able to tile 6-9 tables?

Maybe it's off-topic but...

which HUD do you recommend? PT, HM or maybe others?

I guess I will get the 30 days trial of Holdem Manager2 and have a look at it.
My problem is that I don´t have experience with this software and I am afraid it is too complicated for me.

The installing process could be a little hard, but just a little. To learn how to use the software is easy. Ask if you need help. Big Smile
