I assume that PS has acquired, FullTilt's Poker Academy as well,
It say's its under Maintenance "the Academy is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance. Please try again later." I had finished 13% BRM challenge, in "MY ACADEMY" before BlackFriday, I didn't do much training there as it used alot of bandwidth(data budget) PS better as didn't use as much.
Just wondering what this means too the 2 schools, PSO and FullTilt's Poker Academy ? will they merge or stay separate, And what happens too the Info/data/resources, will it be shared between the schools or?
have no idea mate but i hope they keep the academy the way it use to be......have some pending and completed challenges too...PSO is quite different for me... I dont understand much of it specially the PSO freeroll...

It’s better to wait til they give some explanations about this subjects before entering in debate based on rumors. If it keeps as a diferente online poker room, although ruled by the same owner, it makes more sense if it keeps a diferente school, not mixing nothing. Remember that those who had acounts both in PS and FT will proably be able to keep them. It won’t be like some rooms that belong all to the same company and have tourneys that give the player the possibility to play the same tourney through different rooms.

They still havent opened yet and you are wondering about academy, offers etc. Let them open first, so players can get their money and those come at the end.

Well I think Academy/Full T point/Iron man balances are another concern players have. Sure it's nice to be getting our money back, but what about the points we've earned as well? IIRC I had quite a few thousand FT points, and around 12k+ academy credits as well as many challenges partially completed. Also had a lot of iron man medals so in total I probably had a few hundred $$$ worth of points on top of the cash I had on there. Point is, all those extra points have monetary value, and so it's just as much a concern as getting our money back is.
I personally hope they keep the academies seperate. FT's was always 100 times better, not even including the points you got. PS's academy is just hard to navigate and doesn't really add any incentives.

So were you actually able to logon to FT at this time because I haven't been able to download the software at this point. Just curious as to what the timelines may be and if U.S. citizens will get to play there.

Erased the Fullk Tilt Poker about two months ago (there was no reason having it there installed), but if they dont reopen, you probably wont be able to login, unless they do any tests and you manage to hit them on the right time.
Yes would be great getting everything back, no one says otherwise. Myself had plus two, tournament dollars tickets etc.

i think most of the unique features of full tilt will be kept- in other words everything what separated full tilt from pokerstars will remain- imho this is the only thing why stars bought tilt at all, they where unique, had their own way of attracting players, and competed with stars on a regular base, so there's no point in buying business and making it identical to what you already have...
