Poker pro Ryan Young passed away on Monday at the age of 28. There are very few details of Young's death, but most sources claim that he died in a car accident. Young was a well-known face in the poker community for his fantastic achievements at the World Series of Poker, where he has cashed 12 times and won 1 bracelet (2007 WSOP event #35: $1,500 No Limit Hold'em).     Many poker s[...]   Read more » Ryan Young Killed in Car Accident

It’s always sad to hear about a loss like this, but some things just don’t have na explanation. He leaves a great history. Only 28 yers old and he had time to cash in 12 times at the WSOP and even one bracelet, he was going very well in his career. By the way, this picture in black and white says everything. His face shows he was young, the Money shows he was a winner, and the black and white shows he passed away. Whoever did this photojournalistic work has talent.

Sad for anyone to die so young.

I'm coming up for 28 and puts it in perspective a bit.

Sad for such a young man to lose his life at just 28. May our prayers be with him, his family and friends. I'm sure at this age and having such a winning track record he had just began his journey into the depths of the poker world. Watched the kid play a few times and seem to be an aggressive confident individual who didn't get the full package. RIP

Now this a really sad development in the world on poker, it's a shame that people so young die in car accidents...

I actually remember that i've read about him when he won his WSOp braacelet back in 2007.
