Most trusted sites are the big ones and most known. But hard to find a good freeroll there since most of them are flooded and the prize money sometimes doesnt even worth it, unless reaching final table.
Good money you will find in smaller rooms or when a new one is opening and trying to lure people

most trusted and best are two different things: most trusted are big sites, obviously pokerstars is the name to beat, ladbrokes, betfair are safe too. now the best ones are those who offer big prize pool freerolls, or offer them often- you should just browse the sites yourself- btw who cares if the site is trusted or not- you are going to play freerolls? what can you lose?
Party Poker BRM freerolls was the best that i played...competition is at a good level...you dont see players donking around like in pokerstars but as of this time there has been no PP BRM freerolls...im really forward for BRM to start the party pokerleaderboard again...Betfair freerolls also are really good...prizepool is not that big but you have a better change of winning since number of players are not much....already build my BR at betfair and now i already playing real money games cash games,SNG and MTT....

To be honest Carbon has a few freerolls that aren't that bad. The thing is, miday it's HORSE, early evening is Omaha and there are two NLH 9:00 pm Eastern time and 1:00 am. There's a NLH at 6:00 am also. That's the only info I have!

i like stars freerolls- they are actually satellite freerolls in a way, because you enter a freeroll to get into the weekly final, what i like about them is that you get to try all poker forms there is on stars (and there are more than two ) and if you qualify for weekly final you play in a $1000 freeroll...just pick the games which attract less players and are organized early in the morning - less competition
I can't really tells you which open freerolls are best and trusted to play because if I have to chase freerolls to make some nice money I would play the private or restricted ones... we do have plenty of them which offer mega interesting prize pools but you will need to complete a requirement in order to play them... BUT trust me some of these requirements are not that complicated.

Here i also have to agree with pochui's post above, if you want to start from zero and in couple of days you could become millionare that place is definately pokerstars...
Still, it's more of a luck thing to get there considering you need to play against so many players
