Well the title says it all and ive not been about much but i dont think there been one for a while. Any format any buy in whos up for it? Suggestions on format and buy in welcome
If we can buy in with mobpoints again, count me in...
I think the level of players that will enter may vary wildly, that's why few people want to risk losing a big buy in to some of these BRM sharks (or donks for that matter)...
Suggested format: MTT 3000 chips with 5 minute blinds...

If Tony is willing to facilitate this again, then that would probably get the most people involved, it would be a good compromise between playing for free and playing for a prize.. Worked well with the HU championship.

aye i think most people would prefer mob points (if tony will allow it) as not every one has accounts on different sites. i'm up for it again ,just keep me away from jesse thats if it is heads up.

well this tourney can easily be created in pokerstars home games lobby, and buy in can range from freeroll to any desired ($0.10 minimum buy in for real money) game type, format, speed can easily be adjusted too- if this would be a low buyin event i would be very happy to have a go at brm pro's

If we can buy the ticket with mobpoints would be awesome! We could make a rebuy tournment so like that some odf us can make other use of theyr mobpoints!
yeah mobpoints buy in or even a freeroll with a nice proze pool...or same tournament like pochui organize last time....5000 chip 10min blinds...it was good...only that just a few BRM members played....maybe this time more BRM members can play..pokerstars is the place....

Yeah, think it pretty well has to be PS.. No where else has as many BRM members with an account.. I dont really play at PS, but have an account there and dont mind putting on a few $$ if we make it a buyin game, either.

Well, since there's no real direct way to translate mob points into a cash buyin on any site, I have an idea on what we could do.
Whatever buyins we decided on, could be paid for on here via mob points. In turn I'd take whatever points were put into the pool, and host a tournament with that same cash prize.
So for example if we decided we did 100 point buy-ins per person, and we had 50 entrants, I'd put up $50. In turn admin would just send the points to my mob account.
I'm willing to put up to $50 in this way. Would like to do more, but I want to leave myself enough buy-ins to continue playing while I waited for the points to process. Anyone else who has money on stars is welcome to join in on this venture, and we could just share points equally.
Anyone who decided to do this would have to realise they won't make any money from doing so(well, unless they play and win) and will actually lose around 10% due to stars raking the prize pool. It'd be more of a "for the community" thing.
About the only rule I'd think of ahead of time is, this would be for forum regs only. Since it'd be on stars, this would be no problem since it'd be invite only.

There are quite a few reasons for me actually. 1. I'm unemployed 2. I only have like $400+pokerwinnings a month to live on 3. I've got bills to pay for about $200 4. My girlfriend lives 250 kilometers away and it costs about $70 every time we get together, which we do 2 times a month and we pay half each meaning $70 a month for me 5. I need to buy food and try to have a life with what I have left.
So as you may see, just because I live in Sweden it doesn't mean that I'm that well off. The only reason that I actually get by right now is because of my winnings on poker since I know where to find the biggest fish on PartyPoker.

Yeah it's pretty weird; there's sooo many people with this attitude, they'll happily sink $20+ in a night at the pub, or a movie, or whatever else - but just out-right refuse to deposit their own money on a poker site. Blows me away.
But it IS the reality we have to deal with when arranging these events unfortunately.

So you're saying you'd pony up some of the prize pool if we did it for points?
