Season 9 of PokerStars European Poker Tour will begin on Wednesday with the Festival of Poker in Barcelona. yeah i'm in- i want pokerstars to create a "degenerated low roller" award, or something similar...lol here's another one: "best player who plays from borrowed money"...think sahamies would have no competition here...there are more and more high buy in tourneys popping up around the world

You all know there will be a dozen players running for this new award. There aren’t much more who enter alomst all of these 16 events, i guess, if the tendency keeps the same as it was throughout last years. If Daniel Negreanu makes nice in some of these events he might be qualifying to be the first to get this new award.

That gives the pros a bigger reason to really grind out a result and place well, could see people taking less risks if the title depends on hanging in before someone busts out that could beat them to it - that is if there's a prize for it.
