OK - this is incredibly cynicle and spiteful - but funny..

I was thinking, i can't recall the actual usernames - but I know there has been at least a few BRM members who claimed to have $1k+ tied up on FTP.

Which is amusing, considering that generally speaking - we're a micro-stakes playing forum.. and I know I've seen a few posts of peoples HH in 2c/4c etc and they've later claimed they've had to drop back to micros because of lost FTP balance..

Anyway - It just occurred to me, now that FTP balances will soon be available - if anyone could be bothered looking up the posts (or remembers any names..) we could see who really did have funds tied up and who was just full of s**t..

Anyway - I'm not actually going to do this.. It just made me laugh thinking about it, f**k - poker forums all over the internet have had countless donks posting about their thousands lost on FTP.. well.. now..

Will post pic of account balance as soon as FT comes back online. Then finally I can shut up all the nay-sayers Smile My gfs already made it clear that once FT comes back up, I'm withdrawing the majority of the money for christmas and a trip.

I’m not one of them, although i would love to be, it would be great news! But i can remember a few names around here in which i believe they must have had some bad headaches because of what happened at FTP. And $1k isn’t that much. When looking at the reality of this fórum, like in mosto f them online, people who dedicate to this most often don’t have that much involved in the game, because those who play with more Money don’t even like to be well known. Participating in a fórum like this is giving to know his nickname to everyone, which means it can increase the difficulties at the tables. Said this, i’m not applying for that job, although i think it’s not that hard.

I really don't understand you, jessthehuman.

First, a few k $ is not a huge bankroll. Lie about a little amount has no sense.

Second. Few thousands $$ is the bank that usually a good micro player has.

Third. As MIGO14, i happy to get my $$ back Smile.

Hmm, for sure it is not a huge bankroll, but for me it would be a very nice and decent roll for sure.
I would be happy if I would have a bankroll of a few k $ (I guess one can see that my comment on the roll on FTP was ironic, if I remeber correctly I think I have around $ 100 at FTP account).
Nevertheless I am happy with my current overall bankroll which I builded up from nothing for 1,5 years now (working on my second k$ Smile )

Im not gonna look into whos saying the truth and whos not.
But its not that hard reaching into Ks if you only play micros.
For example when i use to play daily in iPoker there where a few players making
minimum of 15$ per day and we are talking about 0.01/0.02 bb Smile
Play a year like that and you have a few Ks

Tha real funny is, for me, some kind of post on 2+2 (i don´t know if i can write 2+2 without broke rules, ejem..) when players cry just for they 'sell' thousand of FTP dollars at 10-20%.

Some guys are making lot of money with it.

damn it- i had over a million dollars frozen in full tilt, and you know what? they have told me that it is way too much much money for a micro stakes player to have and they think that i am connected to international money laundering gang (mentioned sadam and bin laden for no reason at all) and eventually informed me that my money will not be given back- for moral compensation they said that $0.24 will be available immediately when full tilt comes back Confused

yeah, I mentioned that in another thread.. They better hope they have that s**t in a good legal binding contract.. There's going to be some serious pop-corn time threads on 2+2 regarding peoples balances sold short.

For those of us that do have the 2 or 3 thousand dollars that is actually 68 or less! does anyone understand what they're actually going to do for the U.S. citizens?
My guess is, the DOJ wants to tax the money prior to or actually as U.S. players withdraw. It's just a guess, but it seems U.S. players have to complete the proper or fill out documentation for the release of the money. With this being the case I won't be surprised that there will be some type of tax charged to players that have large funds being withdrawn.

Yeah, I would imagine they'll try and tax it based on whatever method they generally tax gambling winnings in the USA.. I have no idea how it works, but if you have any notion as to the tax laws for other forms of gambling in your country, I'd imagine it will be similar.

Luckily I only claimed $300/400 , so I should be safe. Tongue
Don't know how, when, or if I'll get it back as they are not getting a license in Belgium/Spain. Sad
There go all my $26 tickets and more which I grinded for. Aww crap!

@Retribution:
Nice one! Thumbs Up
Hope you don't have to mortgage your house to get the cash to put on FT for a day for that screenprint? Confused
...just playing with you man. Tongue

Yeah I seen that; they're not going for any of those speciality licenses.. That sucks. I'm sure you'll at the very least get your regular balance back. Also - PS/FTP is trying pretty hard to get the FTP brand good again in the community, so I wouldn't hold my breath on your tickets/points etc but I wouldn't write them off just yet either.

haha oops. This is what happens now, I rely so much on the browser spell-checker if it doesn't pick something up I don't bother proof-reading myself. No idea why the browser didn't give it a red underline though Confused Maybe I did at work or something and the spell check was off.
