Hi Pochui. I have applied to join the club. Sorry I missed the Saturday tourney, How did it go? Was it a donation to your account as expected???? Haha
Let us know when you have another tourney, How about a heads-up tourney Or perhaps a winner takes all, knockout tourney, would make for some good aggressive play ?!?!
I'm in when they happen, I presume you will let us know on this thread?

not quite the donation i was expecting for my pizza arrived late and had to sacrifice tourney for it , this is not gonna happen this saturday though
now regarding your requests: -heads up tourney- -winner takes it all- this is just a form of payout, not the game format, but yeah possible, btw we have done a few last tourneys with this payout form -knockout- remember i hosted pochui freeroll in this format -aggressive play? probably you should think about sth like 500 staring chips, 3 min blind & unlimited rebuys, that would generate aggression for sure
now here's a suggestion from me i think we should run our club like grocery store anyone who wants something- just asks for it and pays the price...now more precisely: if any mobster comes up with an idea for a tourney- he just asks for it to be created and registers himself- if someone joins him tourney will happen (min players is always 2) if no one show up- tourney will be automatically cancelled and money returned to account- therefore no one risks anything. There are couple of rules though: 1) if you ask for any tourney, when it's created you must register for it yourself- there is no point in asking for a tourney and then not taking part in it (unless super important reasons) 2) when asking for a tourney be precise, here's the info needed to create tourney: date, time, game type, limit, players per table, buy in, format, payout, blinds, starting chips, breaks required or no...(i will post all the options in detail if any one will need it)

sorry for a typo- it's gonna be $0.13 buy in- knockout tourney
lol.. it's pretty simple....ur dealt 5 cards....you keep the ones that are good and discard the rest. Usually there is only one draw. No one but you can see your cards. There are the nornal blinds as usual, you can bet pre draw, on the draw and post draw. The best hand wins. I'v played quite afew freeroll 5 card draw tourneys for practice, You'd be amazed how some hands turn out and if someone shoves on you the min one should be holding is a premium FH cause they usualy have a straight flush or a royal. I'v lost with straight flush to a higher straight flush....same goes for boats. Oh btw there are donks in this game as well. Play a freeroll u'll see.

...and to takingdrugs may I suggest u try the freerolls on PS for pracrice...there's an upside, if you cash u earn a ticket to the sat/sun round 2. I've earned 16 so far since April and have 14 left. BTW.... haven't earn one ticket playing Holdem...guess what I won't be playing when I start using up the tickets

i'm not very keen on holdem/fcuk'em too- this game looks to me bigger gamble than a few other poker forms, i do play it since most of the crowd goes there- and all the promotions a geared to this poker form, but this aside i better stick with less popular poker forms... btw- i will be up for stud too not sure about holdem...

yeah i like to throw myself in the deep end dont mind losing 11c in the name of dicovery and exploration can play stud already though (not very well) used to just play taxas holdem all the time but have really been getting into my omaha at the moment, finding it more profitable, not so much for hi/low
used one ticket to play a holdem tourney (stupid me) got rivered and bounced in the first hour. Second ticket cashed in a PLO hi/lo. Cleared my bonus switching to PLO at stars. If I was a real gambler...wud have lost 10's of k's by now. Just not worth the aggro.

leave the holdem alone- clearly its not your game- stick with those less popular games- there are plenty of donks in those games who don't even know the rules of the game they are playing- making the games itself more profitable. good luck with your remaining tickets- post the updates how it went
------------ Well since it is so hard to convince players have a go a home games for money (not sure is if just because of this) maybe we should do a play money tournament/league? just for bragging rights, anyone would be up for this?
