Good fold or not?   0
Was this a good fold or did i fold the best flush here here? Or did he get there on the river and make a boat? This villain was playing a vpip of 11% over 67 hands so i found it really hard to believe his river bet was anything but the nutz. Please do not criticize my opening of K,8s as i like to mix up my game and look to play good implied odds hands frequently as many players at this level will easily stack off with TPTK if they hit.

umm mightve been worth a call, not really sure what i wouldve done there, i mightve called with nut flush, he couldve had QJs or 3 of a kind, check call on the river or a check fold, seems like a fairly large river bet, basically polarizes his hand, hes either weak or strong. i probably wouldve called though. id like to hear what others have to say, its a decent HH compared to the usual ones

------------
on second though just noticed the river double paired the board, easy fold.

With a VPIP of 11%, no way villain is betting anything you beat, especially with the board double paired. I have a feeling he had you on the flop or possibly turn however. Easy fold, especially with the bet-call on the turn.

I don't want to criticize the K8c but i have to talk about it. Why are you raising with that hand? the only thing you can hit that wouldn't make you think alot about is the flush.. rest is pretty beatable.. straight is a lie.. any pair you hit can be beated by a higher kicker.

You actually hit the flush on a wet board and you folded.. kinda weird if i make a move with that hand im deffo gonna call the nutflush.. unless i'm 100% sure he has me beat .. which is kinda impossible. Dunno maybe you have a dead read on him and you know he has the full.. but it's lowlimit cash he could easily have a set or a lower flush.. what kind of table image did you had at that point?

What do you think of his bet on the river? 3rd club comes into play and he bets big.. you think he put you on a flush and was trapping you?

You dont understand. K8s is a great hand in a deep stacked cash game to raise in an unopened . I dont overplay my hands and am confident in my postflop skills that's why i play these hands occasionally. It helps because it helps get me paid off more often when i actually have a hand and i pick a lot of pots up uncontested. My stars were 27/27 over 117 hands which is perceived as LAG but not a maniac. This was a good fold in my honest opinion as i really only beat a bluff. Even if i was ahead this player type is not bluffing often enough in this spot for it to be a profitable call.

Yes i don't understand because i don't play like that. But if you are confident in that kind of play and you think its EV+ i won't contest it. Everyone is entitled to play the way they like and that was not the main discussion so i'm sorry for the comment.
Was just saying that i've seen like.. 99% retardeness at low limit .. people overbetting with mid pair like ALOT and going all the way 3 barreling with AK hitting nothing. His stats show he doesn't play like that so it's fair to assume he had the nuts. All in all it's a ok fold.. hard one tho.
