re raise all in on the flop would be a good move if the on who raises was a over aggressive opponent but if villain is a tight passive, you have to fold with that raise cos it only mean a set....

Indead the best thing to do was making the fold.
The only hands that could explain such a raise are a set or a a flush in spades or even a fh could be possible. It could also mean he made a good bluff. You ll never know....
But I would also have folded the hand... (but I am not a pro so ..)

You did the right thing laying it down, however you quite possibly could have won it by shoving on the flop.
I'm thinking they must have had a 7 probably A7o and called to see the turn as so many players do with such hands.
The flush is possible so their range might have been wider than you think - it's a natsy card to hit on the river thats for sure and it's pretty clear your opponent had the better hand by far or it was a big ass bluff.
