Party Poker $250 freeroll finished 1st of 8566 ($39,50).
This was the best feeling ever, playing poker. I finished 2nd in this tournament once before, but this felt infinitely better...
I've been consistently getting good results lately, just earlier today I finished 6th of 421 for one of the 10 tickets to the "Autumn million special", just like last Thursday when I finished 5th of 472, and the week before 2nd of 430 in the same tournament (I won 9 tickets in August alone).
Somehow I've really been able to run deep in these freerolls, I'm not sure why. I seem to be folding lots of good starting hands, while, paradoxically, playing a very loose aggressive style...
This was also the first time I've won the final HU battle, since for the other win, the top 2 placed were paid the same ticket, so there was no HU. Nice to know this worked out well, since I don't have a lot of HU experience.
Thanks to the forum for giving me the "play to win" mindset (during the final table, it was about winning the whole thing for me, instead of just climbing the ladder)...

Killer performance to hang tough through a field like that and finish 1st. Congratulations on your 1st first place and your 2nd money finish. Is that correct?

Very nice mate, i always the party poker freerolls a bit more profitable than the ones on pokerstars simply because there are less people that participate.
Anyways, keep up the good job and make sure to keep us posted with your evolution!

very nice run you are on dude- really impressive sweet to see such stability with your results- i don't get even close to this with freerolls. the fact that you are playing loose aggressive style kinda contradicts with such stable results, probably this is the style that works best on the freerolls
nice finished there....wow your really good in freerolls....yeah party poker has good freerolls unfornately i cant play this freeroll because it starts very here i phil....

nicely done...
With this wins you can start playing at money tables or even better start MTT with low buy-in and see if your strategy holds. I hope for you it still works. As you finished several time at the final table this should be going well

Wow unbelivable run-gratz! It seems you are on fire so play so much as you can It´s verry hard to win a freeroll with more than 8.000 player and two times in a few weeks is really great.

Congraulations it must bee great feeling to win at such big field of a players. Carefully with money now dont use it on "white stuff" and whores and remember who your real friends are
Thanks everyone, for the nice comments, it's put a smile on my face!

No, it's the second time I've come first in a MTT, but this one included a HU battle at the end, and a far greater field. I've had plenty ITM finishes and final tables, but winning the whole thing eluded me for a long time...

Probably, I seem to get a lot of action that way.

For me it starts at midnight. This one finished at 5:30 AM; it left me with a bit of a sleep-deprivation-hangover yesterday, but it was worth it...

Fair point. I'm a bit of a procrastinator about that, or maybe I'm just a bankroll management nazi...? Then again, it's not about the money for me.
Posted by erru9107: I do agree, winning that tournament is a great feeling! I've done it ones myself ( http://www.bankrollmob.com/forum.asp?mode=thread&id... ) and I've gotta say that that's the one that gives you the most satisfaction
Nice one... The field was even bigger for you...

Well I'm not about to buy 30 litres of milk, and all my real friends are a bunch of "whores"; they get nothing. I might buy them a glass of milk though...

Great result if someone consider the amount of players involved and the finishing place. Since you are in a roll lately why dont you try to play a buy in tournament with more payouts. No matter what though you are on the right track

Thanks. You're probably right. I've still got about $70 in tournament dollars (in addition to my regular bankroll), that were paid to me for winning multiple tickets for the same event. I need to spend those anyway, because you can't cash out tournament dollars...
I've got a holiday coming up, maybe I'll try something. I'll let you know (but only if I succeed, otherwise I'll hide in shame and pretend nothing has happened).
