Well I guess the poker God is assisting me or noticing the pain after my casino experience and helped me take 1st in the $300 Guarantee today. This was probably one of the best games I've played in some time. I actually took all but one player out on the final table and the games was over in 4 hands once it was down to the two of us. And, we were both at around 700,000+ chips when we started HU. Thanks for the training BRM / Mobsters!

Agreed! IE is awful! Personally I use Chrome, I like Google stuff.. But FF is pretty decent as well..Opera's ok too.. Just.. ugh..never.. NEVER use IE.
If I know anything about women (I'm not saying I do btw), I'm betting this did not get you out of the doghouse with the wife though... In fact it's probably better to not mention it at all...
Nice result though, it makes me wonder if maybe you were hustled at that casino?

Its a very nice win you got there green. Finishing first always a thrill. You overcame a part of the problems you had recently, and some that you still facing with that win. Keep it up with more wins like that in the future.

Grats to you, very well done and very nice winning. Its always a great feeling to take a tourney down. Keep up this great work and build your roll. ( I am also working on my tourney play, but still feel not comfortable in the middle to late stage of a tourney)

Thanks all for your kind words and to answer the question about buyin, it's $1.10 tourney with no rebuys so you start with 5000 chips (which is nice) and go from there.
And as far as being out of the doghouse with the wife well, it's only been two days since the night and everyday there's at 20 comments about it. And, of course there not good comments. Sarcastic remarks about wasting money or shouldn't spent that. You all know if your with a lady, married or not. lol Again thanks and it felt good to win 1st.

Congratz Mohave, these deepstacks are always nice to win. Doesn't matter the amount won (which was very good by the way), 1st place in such a tourney shows a skillful player with some cool story to tell! Good game

Nice one Green and a nice return on investment in that tourney. its always nice to see a BRM'er coming good and sharing stories about how they won (or lost as the case may be) cos i am sure we are all motivated and inspired by comments that follow and learn from good and bad play.

Now i really like this concept, and frankly there aren't many poker platforms that offer this kind of system. There are deep mtt where you start with more chips but not even close to 5k but you are allowed to rebuy.
