So, I was sitting there with $0,18 and entered a freeroll where I got $0,05 so I entered a cash game table with $0,23 ($0,20 minimum) and managed to double that up. I then kept playing the cash game tables and moved up in limits and now by only playing cash game, I have a nice solid $66 bankroll So now it's time to go to bed before I blow it all away!

I started today at Yatching poker, and I made a 5th place on a Freeroll, I got $1.05... But I only have $5 at my bankroll... I hope I can hit the $50's like you did...

Wow, thats a really impressive run in one session. Starting this low and building it up that way is really nice. Grats to you, very well done. Keep it going this way (But also have a look now at good bankroll management)

Impressive run indeed, I wonder at which poker site you realised this session. And at which level did you play the cash games ? Hope you look at your Bankroll Management or your profit could be gone before you know it.

wow, that's wonderful after few day before you told 2 hour without win a single hand !!!!Play cash game with start capital $0.23 ?!! Play all in or fold ? You should be get a lot good card. Congratz and Good luck.
Limits: Started at Limit Hold'em (I only play limit on cash games) at $0.02/0.04 (that's $0.01/0.02 in blinds). I made my $0.23 into just over $1 and then moved up to $0.05/0.10 (blinds $0.02/0.05). I made that into just over $3 and then moved up to $0.10/0.20 (blinds $0.05/0.10). Made that into $10 and then moved on to $0.15/0.30 (blinds $0.07/0.15). Made that into $15 and moved on to $0.25/0.50 (blinds $0.10/0.25). Made that into $25 and moved up to $0.50/1.00 (blinds $0.25/0.50). Made that into $40 and then moved up to $1/2 (blinds $0.50/1.00) and made that into my $66.
And before you say anything. I know that I did move up way to early and I should have applied proper bankroll management but I figured that since I played with the houses money (which it pretty much was) I might as well go for it. Today I will start applying my bankroll management and don't play more then my bankroll can handle if I would lose.
I'm hoping to make this into a nice $100 bankroll at which point I'll probably cash out about $80 I think and try to rebuild with the $20 I have left.

Sure you can see it like that way "playing with the money from the house"
But i think you ll be doing the same in the future , not following a good bankrollmanagement as this has proven the opposite :
MAKING A BIG PROFIT BY NOT FOLLOWING A BANKROLLMANAGEMENT
For me an increase in bankroll from 0.18$ to 66$ is only possible by :
1 Winning 1rst price in a big freeroll (200$ or more)
2 playing with your entire bankroll and win a lot of times in a row, like you describe above..
3 finding another players who sends you the money to your account (I once got 5$ from another player so it s possible)
If you wanne play further with a good bankrollmanagement I wish you GL and a lot of patience....

Posted by thefly131: Just to inform you that one day luck will be on a holliday for you.
Maybe a good idea for you to read the thread of downswing.
you make almost 10% profit versus your bankroll and then even hope to win even 4$ more...
at what stakes are you playing at the moment ???
Yeah I'm well aware of that. I recently suffered quite a big down swing but I managed to recover as you can see in this thread.
Today I've dedicated to MTTs and I'm playing all the freerolls (just to pass time while waiting for other tourneys) and all the fast MTTs except rebuys for $1-3.

Very good performance to build your BR up like that. It always makes one feel good to achieve the task of building a BR from basically nothing. I remember the first time I wona freerol on Fulltilt with no BR and I had a whole $8 and change. I never managed $8 so well in my life. I don't know what it is that gives one thrill or a sense of wholeness by doing this.
Again Congrats and Good Luck! Hope you triple it over and over. Love to hear Mobsters share their stories!

Well, I'm not all that good when it comes to Sit & Go's so I never really play them. I'm more of a Cash/MTT player.
------------ So, this day was dedicated for MTT's. Unfortunantly they didn't go all that well so I only managed to break even. So I tryed my luck at the cash game tables for about an hour or so and I managed to turn my break even result into a $12 profit.
So all and all, I started the day with $66 and now I'm ending it with $78.13, that's a $12,13 profit.
If I can keep this up, I'll have my $100 in no time And to think it all started out as $0.23 freeroll winnings

congrats on your roll, very nice getting it looking so healthy with such a small starting sum of money, what's your secret? i wonder how big it will be tomorrow when/if you move up in stakes.
