Items of importance: 1. food and water supply 2. crossbow and plenty of ammo 3. two Katana swords 4. night vision goggles 5. LOTS of sweet sweet mary jane 6. deck of cards and poker chip set (getting high and killin zombies all day tires one out and its good to unwind with a friendly game of poker ) 7. pistol with several rounds (explained in a later section) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~~(this section needs personalized tweeking and i hope to see so good comments about it )~~
When the inevitable happens and zombies take over the world, you will need a safe and secure place to hold up for god knows how long.
I recommend a small island or if you are a member of the USA go to Alcatraz it is pretty much a fortress and is on an island... also i assume a lot of people will have the same idea and there is strength in numbers.
Personally i will be held up at my cousins cottage which is on a small island with as many family, friends and "Importants" that i will discuss in the next section.
Important members of your new found zombie killin crew 1. doctor 2. Someone bad ass at killing zombies ( I recommend woody Harrelson) 3. family and friends (from this point on in this list is for the rebuilding of society if possible) 4. teacher who is well versed in many subjects 5. fairly even ratio of men and women 6. Someone with the know how to grow some bomb as hydro 7. NO POLITICIANS!!!!! 8. As many poker players as i can find cause in the new society we will decide major choices over a game of NLHE (any others you can think of for this section please do post)
Assuming the only way to become a zombie is by a bite or infected blood entering your own you will need to know what to do if one of your crew gets infected....
Step one take them away from the group Step two wait for them to turn step three shoot them and cut off head if necessary with katana
I beleive this is the most humane way to deal with the issue that could easily arise.
Ok so I've covered the main plan so basically no big guns and s**t that probably wont do much to ze undead swords and crossbow should do nicely. Had this convo... You will need to smash the skull and destroy the brain..but close contact is risky..second method starve them.. so best rethink weapon choice. But here is were the real problem occurs, we will all be under court martial and zombies will soon be military zombies... trained killer zombies...so we have to make the decision, kill the army "protecting us" or try recruit.

I'm way behind on this subject since I rarely bump into the zombie factor in my location, but all is well since I do have a bow and I do have a sword. I guess I haven't bought any cards due to playing on-line has changed the fact I forgot how to deal.
No matter the read was enjoyable and if no pledgerism is involved you should go on to writng a book about this. I believe it would fare well in todays market.

Except not all can survive, fat people out, old out, disabled...your gone. Sounds harsh, but it is for the greater good..but that is not the harsh bit, we must keep zombie numbers down..we must kill the vunrable rather than risk increasing numbers. This applies to those who do get bitten, kill them..friend, family, yourself KILL KILL KILL. It will be a frenzy, people will hoard supplies, you will have to too, it may become currency, get a truck and fill that bitch. Remember do not be greedy, those who become weak from starvation etc will fall to the zombies, look after each other, unless fat. Zombies do not like water, get a boat. Do not corner yourself, it might sound Ike a good idea to hide in a abandoned train station but these sort of places will be infested with time, no place to run, keep moving. Remember, do not fight other groups, select a group elect a leader and follow rank, stay in contact with other groups but too many chefs spoil the broth, groups of 10 should be suffice. As mentiond before, the army might be our enamy, they will be protecting the elite, we will need to take them over. I also recomend a higher women to men ratio for re-population purposes.

how do we know that you are not a zombie trying to lure us all into a trap? Zombies are a lot more intelligent than they used to be now!!
i would be very dubious on going to alcatraz just incase a trap has been set...i will probably find my own island somewhere and make sure it is uninhabited and maybe allow people to join me after being vetted!!

i cant wait till the day i can put all of my years of trainining on games like resident evil into pactice. we all no this day is coming. wouldnt have access to any guns where i am so hunters knife it would be. would probaby make finding a shotgun a top priority priority this could be possible if there is a state of dissorder.would also pack lots of mary jane. doubt i could get too an island probably best to keep moving not in one place and deffo work in teams of about 10. i would probably head for high ground, dont know why

Well there's another way to think about this , if a zombie apocalypse comes , there will be absolutely no one to maintain the 2019423904324324 factories all around the world , so pretty soon , the power will be out , without power , the nuclear factories won't have a way to cool down the nuclear reactors , pretty soon the containments will colapse , and we'll have a hiroshima story all around the world , so the planet will be covered with radioactive dust , and all sorts of crap , so your best option is , to find a remote island , far from society , try to hold there ,hope none of that crap reaches so far , find all sorts of hot girls , some good buddies , lots of alcohol , plenty of condoms , big a$$ guns , or just build a freaking space ship and find another planet with 3 boobed alien chiks.
Get a Katana, a Wakazashi and a Tanto. Basically Japanese long sword, Japanese short sword and Japanese dagger. Gives you more options if the fighting gets up close and personal.
Will also need a farmer or botanist for growing food and more mary jane. a mechanic to keep things running as long as possible would also be useful

Unfortunately few people take this threat seriously, but then they will probably be the first victims once the attack begins. I have chosen to prepare my family by running practice drills when they least expect it, and I can say with confidence that we are ready. The attached document lists easy steps to follow, and my recommendation to everyone is to frame it and hang it in your home so that you can easily and regularly review it.
