I know we have here on the forums people that are also interested in the high stakes games that are currently just on Pokerstars.
Anyways, yesterday i made an deposit on stars so i reinstalled the poker client and i checked the action a bit on NLHE $200/$400. These two guys played heads up and in just a short time that i watched them Kanu took over 200k from pat. The interesting thing is that i saw 5-bets preflop, another small cbet on turn and all in on river from Kanu and Pat folded every time(we are talking about 80k+ pots!).
I made this thread because i wanted to ask those that are specialised on HU if this is a standard play on HU NLHE because to me it's pretty -EV?

If you only want the opinion of HU specialists, don't read what i am about to right next. In HU, one of the strategies is to bet or raise in every ocasion, puting the pressure on the other side, so that the opponent have more difficult in reading us. Looks to me that, at some points of the game, that was what Kanu7 was doing. You can't think about the value. When playing at this levels, you have to consider they are pros and they would take exactly the same option and game strategy even if it was just for one penny made of copper.
