Yeah that happened to me aswell.. you must be aware, some are free to choose tokens.. others are to play the next qualifier.. (i for a fact know that it is said in the tournament info). Tbh don't blame party poker for your lack of information, it happened to me on one of those and i wasted many hours to qualify .. then i woke up and game was played. I was kinda unsatisfied but ultimatly it was my own fault coz i didn't read the rules. All of the others i had played and qualified i could choose the tournament to play.. so i was reckless in that one and i paid for it. It sucks but it's not party poker fault, they are not trying to steal your token lol. Besides, those qualifiers are surreal for someone who has no money coz after that you have a 2$ rebuy, with people with actually money to waste and some are even regs at those, they will go agrotard and buy in plenty of times you will bust easy.

1 point i want to add is that on pokerstars from the main lobby you can always see if you are regd. in to a tourny because it is highlighted in red. on other sites when i have regd into a tourny there is no indication that i have regd and no easy unreg button. also if you were already regd. when the customer service rep. looked on your account for the ticket maybe they wouldn't find it as you are already regd and therefore used the ticket?

Party poker are a great site. Always quick and swift with withdrawals. Anyway you should of known this so its your own fault for not being there when it started.
