Full Tilt Poker September 2012 News  0
The Full Tilt Poker news in September, 2012 is very optimistic. As many of you will have heard by now Pokerstars bought Fulltilt Poker a couple months ago. September is here and we are much closer to the refund deadline. It is predicted that the Full Tilt Poker refunds will happen before the November 6th deadline so it could happen sometime during 9/12. Full Tilt Poker, or should I say Pokerstars, released a statement recently. This update by Fulltilt Poker will answer many questions that you may have. To simplify things I will provide an overview of the statement.
Fulltilt Poker FAQ – Statement Overview

Q. When will Full Tilt Poker reopen?
A. Full Tilt Poker plans on reopening on or before November 6th, 2012.

Q. If I currently play on Pokerstars will this affect me?
A. No. It will be business as usual at Pokerstars.

Q. Who will be allowed to play at FulltiltPoker.com when they reopen?
A. 95% of the world will be able to play real money poker at Full Tilt as soon as we reopen. At first we will not seek permits to play in the following European countries: Spain, France, Italy, Estonia, Belgium & Denmark. This is because Pokerstars is already licensed to play in this countries and it will take time to do the same for Full Tilt Poker.

Q. Can citizens of the United States of America play at Full Tilt Poker when they open back up?
A. No. The purchase of Fulltilt Poker was handled by the US government. Pokerstars and Fulltilt will not allow players from the USA until it is legalized there. The good news is that our deal with the DOJ allows both poker sites to apply for licenses when they become available. Many think that online poker will be 100% legal in all 50 U.S. states in 2013. The current U.S. poker sites will have a lot of trouble getting a license because they are disobeying the U.S. government right now. They may not be among the lucky few U.S. poker sites in 2013.

Q. When Full Tilt opens back up will I be able to transfer money to my Pokerstars account?
A. Yes, we plan on including this option.

Q. I am from one of the European countries listed above. Can I move my Full Tilt Poker bankroll to Pokerstars since Fulltilt does not have a license for my country?
A. This is our plan but we are waiting on permission from the respective governments.

Q. I’m from the USA. How do I request a payout and receive the money Full Tilt Poker owes me?
A. Your government currently has your money. They will contact you with information about your bankroll refund.

Q. I’m not from the USA. Will I be able to withdraw all of my Fulltilt Poker money at once?
A. Of course. On November 6th or before you will be able to cashout your entire balance if you choose to. There will not be any playing requirements or anything of that nature.

Q. How will I receive my Full Tilt Poker refund?
A. We are currently working on the deposit options for Full Tilt Poker. It is safe to assume that the list of deposit options will be similar to that of Pokerstars.

Q. How long will my Fulltilt Poker refund take?
A. It depends on the method you choose but typically 1-5 business days.

Q. Will my Full Tilt Poker points still be in my account?
A. We have not figured out what we will be doing with regards to the rewards / loyalty program and the benefits it included. Pokerstars will handle this fairly though so you can expect some form of compensation for your FTP points.

Q. Full Tilt Poker has not responded to emails for over a year. Is there any way to contact them before the reopening in November?
A. Yes. You can contact Full Tilt Poker at [email protected]. It will take some time to get back to you as we are receiving many emails.

We will keep reporting on the much anticipated Full Tilt Poker refund and reopening. There will likely be many more news stories about Fulltilt Poker in September of 2012 so stay tuned by bookmarking this web site.

It's good for all, but the U.S. at least from what I read about a month ago. I actually think there was a complete news story with some of the same items you posted here. Not that it matters since it will be longer for U.S. citizens to get a hold of their BR and I believe there's some type of process or request form that needs completed. I actually think the U.S players that have any large amount of money in their BR may potentially be paying a tax when withdrawing. We'll see! Confused Sad

after paying rake and then tax it must bee tough to make a profit.
i doubt anyone would get a tax rebate on money they lost playing poker so taxing it is unfair

^ Considering what i've read so far from the Pokerstars support stuff i think it will definately be possible Blink

I think this is one happy ending to the full tilt poker deal after all, as i always said FTP software + PS support= perfection.

yeah i am also one of those who are very keen on seeing full tilt coming back to life- in reality not for the money that's been left frozen (damn it i can live through a loss of $0.24 or so) but just for pure fun of playing at a nice poker room with cool graphics, nice promotions and great panda avatar Big Smile
