Thanks Jess.

Bit of a disappointment really. I was in second place. Folded round to me on the button with AK Chip leader was BB. I raised 2.5X he called. Flop came AK6 he moved all in I called and found myself staring at a set of sixes. Don't think there was any way I could have got away from it.

Cant say anything bad about that.
Good result with so many players.
Just keep multitabling those MTT's and you will sooner or later hit 1st

Maybe try other formats, draw games or omaha if you are good at that.
Most of the time there are far less players on those games on PS

I find NLH on PS are hard to win.
Most of my wins on PS are on other games then NLH

Congratulations,a final table is something special.Regarding the winning a tournament well is another issue, has nothing to do with skills. At some point you need tone of luck to move move forward,an act of God,is like the server choose the winner and no matter what cards he has, always win the pot Dollar

You must have been fist-pumping that flop ..ugh.. can just imagine the devastation when he flipped a set of 6s

Very nice prize for a $2.50 buy-in. But we always want more and that’s why you say you’re getting closer, you want the first prize. That’s what I call attitude, if one works for something, it only should consider it done when it reaches the perfection, the top of it. You’re playing $2.50 tourneys, the top is to finish first in one of these. This victory you show was already a good reward and it will help you pay some of the future buy-ins to similar tourneys, but you should only feel satisfied when you get the first prize. You can do it! Go for it!

Thanks for the messages guys I appreciate that.

@Remco I'm just not good at draw games and Omaha yet, I absolutely suck at them, but I am working on it.

@Fakiry You are absolutely right, I'll only feel satisfied when I get a first. It's not about the money really.

Nice result Thumbs Up
Unlucky on the AK against the set Disagree

I can remember on the bubble buyin $250 SB versus my BB, flop 445, me SB=55 and me BB==45 Sad
So sick Aww crap!

Nice finish and tournament prize.
You got unlucky there with the AK, but i dont think so anyone would have managed
to get away from this.
It was the best move at the time.
Better luck next time with a first place finish Smile

Nice cash in for 5th to bad on the beat at the end, keep up the good work
You will get your first place finish sooner of later just a matter of time
Looking at a set vs 2 pair on the flop would be a sickening sight to see

Congratulations on that good finish! Unlucky in that last hand, there was no getting away from that hand, you played it correctly, no doubt about that!

Just keep grinding those MTT's and you will eventually get that 1st place! I know you can do it. I'm rooting for you!
