You were beat on the flop set over set and the four flush is an aside. You cud have folded to the reraise...most don't. Nagreanu says one shud never feel bad losing with KK. Near the money I may have folded...lots of short stacks playin shove/fold any two cards. Have had lots of A's cracked that way. GL next time.

I would have probably have played it exactly like you did. I've lost to this very same hand on more then one occasion and when your holding K,K aqnd hit the 3rd K on the flop what can be said. I mean how are you to play it any different unless you fold and I know most wouldn't fold thinking they were up against A,A and then hitting a third A.

Doar, I don't know if this makes you feel any better, but I just got my A,A, crushed by someone hitting a K then rivered a Q for 2 pair which stole half my stack from 20,000+ chips down to 10,000+. The hand directly after I had K,K which the same player smashed with 8,8 by hitting a third 8 on the turn which wipeds me clean right before the bubble. I wouldn't change the way I played them. It just happens some times.

i really don't know what to say :-?? i really can't understand why live i don't get so many bad beats and online i got too many... AA live shove = 99% win... AA online shove = 20% win...

i don't know what u wanna hear? fold kk? slow play? min raise? reraise? all in immediately? everything works- in the long run kk is still+ev and this is the thing you must concentrate on- yeah you will run into aa or even 25o and will be beaten some times, but no one say you will win 100% of the hands- even 55% is cool cause it makes u a winner in the longterm

No, that's a bit harsh of me really. Yeah I know it hurts when it happens but those percentages "AA live shove = 99% win... AA online shove = 20% win" really?? Selective memory I think

To ask yourself wether it was a bad play or not seems pretty stupid considering you had the kings. You can't fold them preflop and after the flop your screwed. If you start to overanalyze and folding kings(especially in big tournaments where you don't know anyone)you'll lose more then you would gain.
